Carol and her co-leader Carri created a wonderful environment for the Scouts in their troop that extended to the troop moms as well. Friendships developed as a result. My friendship with Carol was a result of the Girl Scout days. I have fond memories of our shared love of independent movies at the old Camelback movie theater . We were also part of a book club with a few of our fellow scout moms that holds many memories. I am very sad but thankful to have had some time with Carol.

Carol and I were girl scout leaders for our daughters through their elementary school days. We had a great group and Carol was an awesome co-leader. We did many family events and Joe was always involved. I really enjoyed the both of them and I am so sad about their passing. They were a wonderful couple and I will teasure our memories. Rest in Peace!

Carol Perkins was the most amazing teacher and person ever! She knew her students and loved them as they were her own. She not only cared for them in her class but followed them through out their life. Carol made all learning fun and meaningful . From a tent in her classroom to learn math to amazing Science inventions , the students learned and prospered.
Outside of the classroom , she was always joyful and passionate . Her love of life was contagious . Thank you Carol for sharing life with all of us.

We lived in the Cul-de-sac near Carol and Joe. They were great neighbors. We were there when Hillary was born. Joe would give you the shirt off his back, and he helped me so many times with things that were out of my wheelhouse. I never saw Carol without a smile on her face, even during her struggles a short time ago. They will always remain in our memories. May they rest in peace until we meet again.
