To live in hearts we leave behind is not to die.
Tribute
Alicia was a cherished daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin, and friend, but more than that, she was a quiet force who shaped the people around her in ways both gentle and profound. Through her kindness, she taught us to soften our hearts, to notice the small ways we could lift others, and to treat everyone with the care and respect that comes naturally to her.
Through her joy, she reminded us to see the beauty hidden in everyday moments, the sunlight dancing on a window, the laughter shared over something silly, the quiet triumphs we so often overlook. And through her courage, she showed us that even the heaviest, most difficult moments can be met with grace, resilience, and a quiet dignity that inspires those around her to stand taller and love deeper.
She had a rare and magical way of making the ordinary feel extraordinary, of lifting spirits without effort, and of nudging us, often with that knowing, mischievous smile, to become better, kinder, braver versions of ourselves. Her presence didn’t just brighten rooms; it brightened people, leaving a warmth that lingered long after she had gone.
Her laughter, her gentleness, her spark, they didn’t vanish when she left the room. They settled into our hearts, into the spaces we carry within us, changing us in ways subtle and profound. They move through our lives still, guiding us, comforting us, and reminding us every day of the extraordinary gift it was to know her.

We have so many happy amazing memories from our short time with you, memories we will treasure forever.
Tia and Jayden love you so much, and I tell them that you will always live in our hearts and shine as the brightest star in the sky.
We will forever love you, and we will forever miss you xxx
She was someone who was always your number 1 cheerleader even when you were 10 points behind in the badminton game, taking a 8th break while walking up a hill on the 3rd day of a expedition, working out that 4th chemistry mechanism of the day or finishing that tough 5k run in the rain and she did it all with a smile.
I am truly heartbroken but I’m thankful that I was lucky enough to share these moments and that our lives were able to cross with each other. I truly hope I can honour her by sharing her positivity and warmth that she shared with us every single day.
Thank you Alicia for everything that you have given me, I will miss you xxx
To Yogesh, Jaymani and family I am holding you in my thoughts and sending you strength, comfort, and love. Thank you for raising some one who changed all of our lives in so many ways x
She met everyday with elegance and resilience. There was real beauty in her strength. Alicia was the kind of person that could have changed the world. She had an amazing skill at seeing the best in people, and was devoted to both her family and her study. I never knew her to say a bad word against anyone or to complain about being too tired.
My favourite memory of her is when we played Netball in the winter of 2013. We were freezing, and it had just started to rain, but she rallied around us - cheering us on, coaching us on what to do and how to get through the game. She had a wonderful smile and it never left her face even in those dire conditions.
I can't believe she's gone, but I hope one day I'll be as strong as her 💜
Om Shanti 🕉
Every time I saw you, you were smiling, always quick to greet with a hug, always radiating warmth. When you were with Nilum, you reminded me so much of her younger self: happy, cheeky, and with that little sparkle in your eye that lit up every room.
Most of our meetings were at joyful occasions...weddings, birthdays etc. but my most treasured memory is from the Big Weekend in Luton, watching Coldplay together.
It was a blur of singing, dancing, holding hands, and laughter. I still smile thinking about Ajay's never ending pocket wine storage, me insisting Alicia and Tia should be best friends, and all of us giggling non-stop. That day was pure joy, and you were at the heart of it.
You leave behind a beautiful legacy of love, kindness, and light. I promise to keep an eye on your beloved ones. May your journey to the light be peaceful, and may we all strive to be as loved and cherished as you were.
To Jaymani, Yogesh, and your beautiful family, my heart aches for your loss. The pain is immeasurable, but I hope you find strength and courage in each other, and in Alicia’s memory, still discover moments of beauty in a world that feels so much darker without her shining light.
