Happy heavenly birthday Zack 💜💔💜

Most of my memories of Zack were were as a baby and toddler... such determination pulling himself up on furniture long before my son Colby (born on the same day) and other baby boys in our friend group around the same age. He was amazing from day 1. Although I did not get to see him much growing up into the amazing young man that he was, cheering on all of his accomplishments and adventures from the sidelines (well social media mostly!) He packed a lot into that short life and sending you all so much love and healing as I know he will be dearly missed by all the lives he touched. xo Marnie

I posted this on your Facebook and am re-posting it here. It was truly a beautiful tribute. Wow, Zack was such an inspiration. And a hero to many. 💪💪💪You all raised an amazing son, brother, man, and human being who touched many lives. He was wise beyond his years. Loved his poem and Words of Wisdom.
I was lucky to meet Zack once when he was a toddler, but now I feel like I can see glimpses of how he grew up and what an amazing person he was by watching the video presentation.

It was lovely to meet your beautiful daughters, Sami and Emma, for the first time yesterday at the service. Actually, now that I think of it, I think I met Sami once when she was a baby! You were both Zack’s fave sisters, no doubt! Oh, and if I knew Zack when I was in kindergarten, I’d probably bring him as my Show N Tell hero too!
Their speeches made me laugh and cry.
Actually, all the speeches made me cry. 😢
I’m so glad I briefly reconnected with your mom! She still doesn’t know what we got up to when we hung out at your house as teens! So don’t worry, no secrets spilled. 😂

This is such a heartbreaking loss, I did not meet Zach, but I know how much he was loved. I have been thinking of you and your family and I have just an inkling of how terrible this kind of loss is. You are in my thoughts and heart! ! Words are sometimes so inadequate and yet looking at parts of what Zach wrote, they are powerful. I am truly heartbroken for the loss of such a young and precious life. While no words can truly ease the pain of your loss, please know that you are in my thoughts and in my heart. Today was hard but it was a beautiful service with lots of wonderful memories shared. We were lucky to have Zach join us for many Christmases and family gatherings.

Today was a tough day. We will miss Zack so much. I am grateful for all the memories from high school and parties with Zack.

No better way to start my day. A coffee and your smiling face 💜💜

Zack was one of one - authentic to his core, reliable, honest and kind, a calm amongst the storm. He was gut-achingly funny and quick-witted, an excellent host, the guy you'd want as your beer pong partner, and the friend who asked about how your grandma was doing. He will remain that way in my heart and be forever missed.
