

Obituary
With deep sadness, we announce the passing of William (Bill) Flesse, who was born on March 15, 1953 and passed away on February 4, 2026 in Columbiana, Ohio.
Bill grew up in Boardman, Ohio, and graduated from Boardman High School in 1971. Following high school, he spent his career in sales with Jones Oxygen Co., Ltd., AGA Gas, and American General Insurance. He was very good at sales and formed great relationships with his customers and co-workers.
Bill was a devoted member of First Covenant Church in Youngstown, Ohio, where he led adult Bible studies and participated in the Caring and Sharing Program during the Christmas Holiday. He Coordinated deliveries of food, supplies, and gifts to families in need. Later, he became a member of Saint Carlo Acutis Parish in Columbiana, Ohio, where he volunteered with a ministry that delivered soup to shut-ins. He was also very active in the Knights of Columbus St. Jude Council in Columbiana, Ohio and the Fairfield Ruritan Club where he served as Club President.
Bill introduced his daughters to sports - he was always available for a driveway basketball game or some backyard football. He spent many seasons coaching Boardman Little League girls' softball alongside his father and also assisted with coaching soccer when his daughters played in the leagues. He created fond memories, supporting young athletes, and spending time with his three girls.
Bill loved playing golf and cheering on the Green Bay Packers. He was a big Jimmy Buffet fan and enjoyed going to concerts with his daughter, Breanne, whenever there was a concert in town.
Bill was known to many for his quick wit and sharp sense of humor. HIs children will always remember his ability to make people laugh.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Margaret and Charles Kenneth Flesse, and his brother, Charles Kenneth Flesse Jr.
Bill is survived by his sisters, Margaret “Peg” Pauley and Reatha Omodio; his daughters, Heather Brady, Kari Knight, and Breanne Reda; and his grandchildren, Kyrah Knight, Connor Knight, and Trey Brady.
