Dear Linda, first I want to say to you and your family, I'm so saddened by your loss/our loss! As you may remember Bill did my husband's memorial talk and from that day on ( for I was only 1 year baptized when I loss my husband), he became someone quite special to me. I'm so sorry that I wasn't able to gather to support you and your family. I do however look forward to seeing my friend again when Jehovah's day comes! As long as He welcomes me in His new world! (Num. 6:24-26) ❤

Our thoughts and prayers are with Bill's family at this time. Bill was a special friend to us and he will be missed greatly, but we will see him again! 💗

It was fall of 1975, I had just moved to the Salem Congregation from Gloucester Congregation. I was out in the field ministry with another brother in the Brimbal Avenue/ Colon St neighborhood of Beverly. The 2 of us were walking and engaged in conversation. Just then a Beverly Police car pulled up beside us! Scared out of my wits didn’t know what to think! Are we in trouble? Have we been outlawed? Has the great tribulation started? It was Bill stopping to say hi! It was one of his final shifts as a Beverly police officer!
