With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of William Kay Curran, who departed this world on May 29, 2024, at the age of 79. William was a man of many talents and passions, whose life was a testament to joy, adventure, and selfless service.
Born on September 25, 1944, William lived a life full of enthusiasm and purpose. His love for travel led him on many adventures, particularly enjoying week-long hiking trips with friends and cherished family holidays. An avid golfer, he also found joy in singing, football, horse riding, and attending festivals. His vibrant spirit shone brightly in every activity he pursued.
William’s compassion and desire to help others were among his most defining qualities. William worked with most of the NHS health facilities with Lewisham Hospital, St Guys and St Thomas Hospital, May Day University Hospital Kings College Hospital Great Ormond street Hospital and St Georges Hospital he had different roles from head of Estate to Estates Manager Worked in South Africa University of Venda and University Of Limpopo
William is survived by his beloved wife, Teddy Curran; his children, Laurel Curran 16 years and Jacob Curran 9 years old He also leaves behind numerous friends and extended family members who will forever treasure his memory and the legacy he leaves behind.
A funeral service will be held on 3rd July 2024, at St. Chad’s Church, celebrating the life of a man who gave so much to his community and friends and loved ones. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the family
William Kay Curran will be remembered for his boundless enthusiasm, hardworking, and generous heart. His legacy of joy, compassion, and service to others will continue to inspire and uplift all who were fortunate enough to know him.
