Obituary
With profound sadness and aching hearts, we share the passing of our beloved friend, Vivian Vi Pham, who left us far too soon at the tender age of 35. Vivian’s radiant spirit touched everyone she encountered, and her presence filled every space with light, laughter, and love. She will forever be remembered for her endless warmth, her genuine care for others, and the unwavering support she offered to everyone in her life.
Though she faced struggles that were hidden from view, Vivian's courage and strength were a testament to the beautiful, resilient soul she was. Her memory will live on in each of us, through the moments of joy she brought, the compassion she shared, and the kindness she gave so generously.
As we grieve together, we find comfort in the love and support of one another. We will be hosting an intimate celebration of life. In the meantime, we are collecting donations to help cover the costs of her final arrangements. Any additional funds will be donated to a youth mental health charity. You can submit your donation from her GoFundMe page:

Vivian will be missed beyond words, but she will live on in our hearts forever.

But not only decorating, she was also an amazing basketball player. We played on the same team for 7th and 8th grade and she won awards for being such a good player.
I’m sad we didn’t stay in touch after middle school, but I’m so grateful to her for reconnecting a few years ago when she invited me to her cake competition screening. I’m so glad I got to see her, and see how her core self hadn’t changed. She was still the hyper and bubbly girl that she’d always been. Her life hadnt been easy, even when we were kids. But I am so proud of her and everything that she accomplished. It was inspiring to see how she stayed true to herself. I know she’s in a better place now, and found the peace that she deserves. She’ll always be in my heart. Rest easy my friend ❤️
Adding some photos of our cringey adolescent years, that I loved reminiscing on with her. Some of my best kid memories are with you, Viv.

I found out that she went to my high school and used to get made fun of for wanting to be a baker. Well she followed through on her dreams and ended up winning a bunch of competitions and being amazing at what she does. She was an example to me of going for what you want regardless of what other people thought.
When I was looking to do a revamp of a lounge in downtown San Jose I asked her to be our design consultant. She quickly came up with an Alice in Wonderland theme and walked me through the space and shared her vision with me. We talked a little bit more about her past and current endeavors and she told me that she was not business-minded at all. She said she enjoyed creating beautiful things but she had no interest in charging for things and would often get scolded by business partners for always wanting to give things away for free.
I never ended up revamping that lounge, but I’m glad I got to share that lunch with Vivian, someone whom I had admired for her skill, creativity, and over-the-top bubbly attitude. She was, at her core, an artist doing what she could to beautify the world.
Perhaps this world was too dark for someone like Vivian and I hope her spirit is in a world more fitting for her now.
I know she’s smiling and baking up a storm (at least that was her dream when she was younger)
Beautiful Angel, rest peacefully in heaven until we see each other again

I’ll always remember the random times she would come into the room and say “want a shot?” or “I made some sweets, want some?” or “wanna do face masks?”.
Vee is the reason I have a 20 minute skincare routine and also why I’ve finished every season of F Boy Island. She’d be like “Ready for some TRASH?!” and then we’d proceed to binge trash tv for the next 5 hours on our lazy days.
Love you Vee 🤍. Until next time.
Some of my fondest memories are from the summers we spent together as kids. Be it rewatching movies like A Walk to Remember and Moulin Rouge and wandering through Michael's. Your creativity and imagination always amazed me; we’d come home with the same canvas and paint, but you would turn yours into a true masterpiece.
Watching you grow up and navigate your 20s was a joy. We had so many fun nights out dancing. You were the brightest light in every room, and everyone adored you. I am so proud of the legacy you’ve left behind through your life's work and creations. I wish we had more time together but we'll meet again, sweet cousin.
