That says it all . When I heard about your demise that early morning I said I have lost another mother because Mama has been very close to me sinceI I met her in the early 80s. A devout Christian, a marriage counselor per excellence and a lover of her husband whenever she was leaving the Redemption city for Ise Ekiti she must buy a gift for chief_ her husband. Beautiful Mama with a sonorous voice, rest well in the bossom of our Lord Jesus till that glorious morning when we shall meet to part no more.
Deaconess Mayomi Eniola Ogunkeyede
Your younger days were in toiling and striving but God's grace, mercy and favour made you blessed and compensated in your old age with wonderful children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mama you ate the fruit of your labour and your latter years became greater than the former.
You were a woman with the works and the word, your spoken English sounds so beautiful. Your service and zeal towards God is one to be emulated to the last, you served God well, Mama.
I called a week to your death to check up on you and you dished out your usual compliment "Lara, you are beautiful" with the mind she would see me again but alas that was the last time.
This is a bitter and at the same time sweet goodbye Grandma.
Eye Vero rest on in God's bosom till we meet to part no more.
A/P Mrs Folorunso Omolara.

Ever since I became your Son in law over three decades ago, you had taken me as your son and not an in law. You were a mother per excellence. You always took time to advise us, encourage us and pray for us.
You identified with us in all situations and circumstances. You taught us the virtues of honesty, hard work, perseverance and total devotion to the things of God. You visited us from time to time to ensure that we were doing well. You left no stone unturned in ensuring that all your children attained the highest level of moral upbringing. Thank you “Mama Vero” for being a good mother. We all miss you.
Continue to rest in the blossom of the Lord.

I miss you a lot. Good night Mama Veronica.

Goodnight my birthday mate.
GOOD NIGHT....

I have always dread this day of your passing. You were a great companion to my mother and our family since my father's demise. My prayer warrior, erudite teacher, your memories are so loud. Grandma,You were so involved in your children's lives to the extent that you knew your great grand children's school principal. What a mother you were. No word can describe effectively who you were to me personally. Your prayers kept me going. Who will call me my beautiful grand daughter again?
Mama Vero, I am indeed grateful to God for given you to me as my grandmother ( the best grandmother that ever lived). I missed and will continue to miss your beautiful smile my paragon of beauty. The beauty queen with the captivating gap teeth.
Sleep on, my vocabulary teacher, lover of God and humanity.
Rest in power and peace, DEACONESS VERONICA OMORINOLA ALUKO , till the resurrection morning.

We are going to miss you. But one thing is certain, We shall surely meet at the feet of Jesus. Keep resting at the feet of Jesus Christ, till we meet again....... Sun nre ooooo iya rere....
I can vividly remember when my grandma was visiting many years ago, and she called my brothers and me explaining to us why we ought to learn to work hard as kids, and how we needed to help our parents by helping each other. I have not forgotten about her advice to date.
Grandma lived a very fulfilled life; however, she will be greatly missed.
Thank you Mama for everything you stood for; a lover of God, a Matriarch of generations to come, a teacher beyond the classroom, a mother of so many, a warrior in times of tribulation and a lover in times of peace. Thank you for always standing in the gap, waking up before everyone to iron our clothes, the many languages you spoke, for the examples of sacrifice and a fruitful relationship with God.
It brings me great joy to know that this isn't goodbye and to say; See you on the other side Mama.

I came in contact with her in 2008, when I was posted to Love Chapel now, Christ Embassy.
Mama was a devoted Christian who gave herself to prayer and fasting.
Even though she was twenty years older than me, she called me Mummy.
She gave herself to the service of God, coming to clean the surroundings of the Church every Saturday.
She was a tithe payer and very supportive in the development of the church.
She made herself available for every programme .
I saw Mama on Wednesday and bid her fairwell with a smile.
She waved back to me with a beautiful smile.
In the early hour of Friday, she took her leave to the great beyond.
Mama had an angelic voice, and she loved singing.
Goodbye Mama, and goodnight.
Rest in perfect peace.
Your daughter and your friend.
Pastor Mrs Titilayo Olaofe.
(Mama Favor)
Mama Aluko is a student of St. JOHN/MARY'S COLLEGE, OWO from January 1971 to June 1973 as a member of the Pilot Course (PC) class newly introduced to train candidates for the Teacher's Grade II course. Mama Aluko was our class captain and a good mother to many of us. Mama possessed a very good relationship with everyone. Though we were very young then, she encouraged us and was fond of some of us "her daughters & sons." Mama's group was special. She would offer motherly advice to us all, and it was a good thing to be on her fair side. You could not miss organized birthdays at "MESO" - our female hostels. Going to MESO was like a pilgrimage to Jerusalem for most of us boys from the male hostels. I still have the pictures for remembrance after 50 years. Since we started SAJOMACO 71-73/74 old students platform, she had been solidly behind us. We visited her every year at her country home in Ekiti. Adieu Mama, we miss you. Continue to rest in perfect peace until the Resurrection day when we shall meet to part no more.
1971/73/74 sets.
Precious, beautiful, neatest nonagenarian that ever lived, that’s what you were my darling Mama. I knew you as a diligent class captain who was ready to bear the brunt of our childish misdeeds in those days. But towards the tail end of your life, I saw in you a precious Mummy, a prayer warrior who devoted her entire life to do her Maker’s will. Thank you ma for allowing me to be close to you as you awaited the final call to eternity. May your soul rest in perfect peace.
Adunola Ala
She loves genuinely and will always ask about your wellbeing.
Continue to rest in the boosom of our Lord Jesus Christ.

I can’t thank you enough for all the love you’ve shown me and my family ,I’m super grateful to God for a good life spent mama ,Your courageous words ,love and prayers keeps us going,Mama we will greatly miss you ,Keep resting in the bosom of our lord.
When I saw you on my Mum’s 80th birthday, that special voice, the smile & your beautiful ebony skin that I grew up with were still there & since I heard of your passing unto glory, the memory never fades.
Pls keep cheering up my Grandma, my super Hero Dad, Aunty Florence & Uncle Mathew with those smiles. Good night Aunty.
Understanding and love were two of the virtues I knew you stood for. These virtues were some of my attraction to you as you oozed them freely. They made you ever welcoming of me and my ways and they made you ever ready to forgive. I love you and I'm ready missing you with your virtues. Your prayers too would be missed by my family and I. We can only take solace in knowing you knew the Lord Jesus Christ hence you're in a better place, still your boys are missing you here!
A great wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and mentor. I wish I have enough words to either capture our almost five decades of existence as mother and son or how much I miss you right now.
Your care, love and tutelage from my infancy have contributed immensely to who I am today. When I last saw you in September 2022, the few moments we spent together shortly before I got into the vehicle will never be forgotten. I know you cannot be with us forever, but honestly your passing to glory hurts so deeply, mama. No day goes by without me remembering our last phone conversation. The news of your departure broke me into uncontrollable tears even as I was driving home that night.
“Se o gburo mama” has finally become a question that will never be directed at me. O ga o.
Even though I did not know your dad in person, but the stories of his values you shared with us will surely be passed to upcoming generations:
“Omo baba Adeti” (as I sometimes tease you) your level of patience, calmness, resilience, strength and trust in God even in very stormy and challenging situations is second to none. Your love, care and prayers will I live to always appreciate.
Sunre o Momo Vero, O darinanko, O doju ala. Orun re ire o eyemi.
We will greatly miss you, Mama. Sleep on until the return of Christ.
With a very heavy heart but gratitude to God for a life well spent. I present this tribute to my ever loving and caring sister and mother. Indeed you were more than a sister to me, ever before I lost my mother you played a significant role in my life that can never be forgotten.
The way you cared for my family, always asking about the welfare of my children each time I came to you and you would pray for them. You did not want to hear that somebody is in need you would immediately meet the need, so generous and kind-hearted.
How can the interaction between me and you be forgotten? Words cannot express the sadness and confusion I found myself in when death snatched you away from me. At times tears would roll out of my eyes especially when the memories of being the only one remaining out of the five (5) children our mother gave birth to came to my mind.
What cannot be avoided must be endured. I am praying to God to help me. What I saw and knew about your spiritual life when you were on earth makes me have the assurance that you are already resting in the bosom of the Lord. Sleep on mama until the resurrection day when we shall meet to part no more.
Adieu Mama. Your only motherly born sister remaining on earth.
Mrs.Ogunyemi V.O.
Roses are red, violets are blue, I will miss you with all my heart all the way to the moon, I will miss when you call me Omowonuola, I love you grandma.
Your presence filled our lives with warmth, love, and wisdom. Your gentle touch and comforting words taught me the true meaning of kindness and family. your teachings passed down through generations continues to guide me and reminds me to cherish every precious moment and always strive for greatness. Rest peacefully Grandma for your love will forever live on in our hearts.
I remember when we lived together and you took great care of us children when our parents weren't home. You used to stop my brother and I from fighting all the time. I remember I used to braid your hair and it was always soft and the perfect shade of grey. Even though I left at a young age and I barely remember anything, I still know the many principles you taught me and I carry them with me to this day. Thank you for your love and your endless prayers. I will never forget you Grandma, you are my role model. I wish we had more time together but I know that you are with God up above where you belong. I love you forever Grandma. Rest In Peace.
Momo vero as you were foundly called, God naturally enveloped you with a golden heart, you were dedicated to God even at your last breath, I bless God for the good life you lived despite that fact, bitter tears rolled down my cheeks when I had your sudden death, it brought me back to the good memory lane we shared together, mama I so much enjoyed the love, good heartedness , compassion, free-minded, kindness, respectfulness, humbleness, selflessness, empathy that you extended towards everybody around you most especially to my mother and my siblings, mama you were always full of fun which reminded me how you used to call me OGA LEKAN and whenever you wanted to spice it up you call me Lekan Omo isobo as being translated from the sound of a popular bird in the forest, at that point even though I was not in good mood before that would make me smile and feel good because it’s funny and I did found solace in the joke, You left an unforgettable foot print of your good legacy in the house of God, billions of words can not describe your good life mama, we love you but God loves you more, continue to rest on mama till we meet to path no more.
‘Lekan Fashoyin.
.
During my trying times, you stood by me and and my family. Hunmm! She passed away in your hands. You were the nanny for the children who to the glory of God today are grownups. Your God fearing attributes and zeal for activities of His kingdom remained remarkable and commendable. You put our feet on the path of redemption and salvation even at very youthful ages, this obviously have contributed in no small measure to what we are today.
Mama Vero, rest on until the resurrection day.
Kemi Aluko-Adeolu
