Vini was a noble soul and had some sort of magic in her as we got so close to her in just first meeting. She had this charismatic values which run in the family ! Vinita was a very kind person, always a smile, I don't remember her ever having a bad day. I worked with her in Vancouver for a number of years, and I remember a person who was a very hard worker, always willing to help. We worked together on the same team, and even when she moved to another department, she always made time to stop and chat, asking how my family was doing. She will be missed.

"Death is not extinguishing the light; it is only putting out the lamp because the dawn has come."
- Tagore

Vini was the embodiment of strength and kindness, always there with a listening ear. To the very end, she put others first and never lost her patience, even when we did for her. To me, she was like a second mother offering words of encouragement, hugs of comfort and meals for nourishment. She will live on in our words, deeds and hearts. I miss you but I shall see you again.
