Obituary
With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Tyrone "TJ" Parker, also known fondly as TJ, though he preferred Tyrone. Born on June 23, 1946, Tyrone concluded his journey on Earth on July 10, 2024.
The beloved patriarch of the Parker family, Tyrone is survived by his children, Tyrone Jr, Ramona, Dorothy Marie, Marcail, Nedra, and Laquana (Feefee), Willie (step-son). Predeceding him were his ex-wife, Doramil Parker, his daughter Michelle, parents John and Marie Parker, and brothers Larry and Norman Parker.
Tyrone was renowned for his direct, smart, and sharp personality. His vivacious spirit often found joy in simple pleasures. He was an avid coffee drinker and a big fan of the TV show "Sandford and Son". Tyrone was quite fond of playing the lottery and his favorite way to keep active was through walking.
Passionate about cars, Tyrone's life was infused with an enduring love for automobiles. His favorite color was blue, possibly as a tribute to the tranquil sky that mirrors the open road. Always ready to share his extensive knowledge about automobiles, one of his best lessons was teaching others how to care for their cars.
Among Tyrone's significant accomplishments were the care he provided for many children, and the successful operation of his neighborhood auto mechanics garage. His love for cars was not merely a hobby or a profession, but a cause he cared deeply for. His legacy, however understated, was a simple yet profound piece of advice: "Never neglect your oil change".
We will remember Tyrone for his intelligence, his wit, and his devotion to his family and his work. His physical presence will be missed, but his life lessons and loving memories remain with us forever.
