Obituary
Tunde Gabriel Adebayo was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, pastor, and friend whose life was marked by faith, kindness, and service to others. Born on November 25, 1986, to the late Engr. Olufemi Johnson Adebayo and Mrs. Eniola Ajoke Adebayo, Tunde lived a life that reflected his love for God, his family, and everyone he encountered.
Tunde began his education at Loveth Children School before moving to Grait Children School in Ogun State. He later attended Folbim High School in Lagos State, where he completed his secondary education. His passion for learning led him to the University of Ilorin, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Geology and Mineral Science. He also completed professional training in Word Processing and Project Management before obtaining a Master's degree in Marine Geosciences from the University of Bremen, Germany.
He built a successful career in geology and engineering, working with organisations including Lagos Water Corporation, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Setraco Construction Nigeria Limited, Global Accelerex, and later Fugro. Wherever he worked, he was known for his dedication, honesty, and willingness to help others.
More than his career, Tunde's greatest joy was serving God. From a young age, he was actively involved in church, serving in different capacities, including the transport unit, security team, ushering department, and evangelism. He faithfully shared the Gospel and eventually answered the call to pastoral ministry, serving as a Pastor at Winners Chapel Swindon in the United Kingdom. He led with humility, compassion, and a genuine desire to see people grow in their faith.
Tunde was deeply devoted to his family. He was a loving husband, a caring father, a dependable brother, and an exceptional uncle who was loved by his nieces and nephews. He was always ready to encourage, support, and pray for others, often putting their needs before his own. His calm nature, generous heart, and willingness to serve made him a blessing to everyone who knew him.
Though his time with us was far too short, Tunde's life was one of purpose and lasting impact. He leaves behind the memory of a man who loved God wholeheartedly, cared deeply for his family, served faithfully, and touched many lives through his kindness and generosity. He will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
