Pastor, I am still struggling to process your loss. Every Sunday, we used your office to teach the teenagers, and after service you would walk in with the altar ministers for your meeting. I still find myself expecting to see you walk through that door.

You were also the first man I would see every Wednesday in church. Somehow, some Wednesdays, I still forget myself for a second, thinking you are there, only to return to reality that you are no more.

Thank you for the use of your office. Our questions and answers session with the teenagers would often overrun, with the way they came with a hundred questions a minute, but you never once rushed us out. You always wanted them to have the space to ask, to learn and to grow.

You never turned down any request that was for the growth of the young ones, the answer was always yes. You were calm and easy to talk to, but always on the go for God's work. I respect and admire you for the unmatched time you dedicated in serving God.

You have fought the good fight and finished your race. Your kindness to me and our young people, I will never forget it.

Rest well Pastor. Until we meet again.

I honestly can’t believe you are gone, still feels unreal. I am truly grateful I had the opportunity to know and meet you in this lifetime. One of the many reasons I enjoyed coming to winners chapel Swindon is because of your teachings. Some of your teachings are literally stuck up in my head. Infact some of my favourite bible scriptures now was heard from you because of how you added more meaning to it. Beyond this, you were an exceptional kind and humble man. I remember coming to meet you for your assistance on a job, you were so receptive and was willing to assist in your capacity. What even amazed is how you were checking regularly with me to know the update.
Heaven truly gained you and I do not have any doubts you are resting with the Lord. We are missing you down here already but we are comforted you are in a much better place. Rest well sir Pastor Tunde Adebayo

Tribute to Pastor Tunde Gabriel Adebayo

It is with deep gratitude to God, though with heavy hearts, that I write this tribute to the life of our beloved Pastor Tunde Gabriel Adebayo.

As his Zonal Pastor, I had the privilege of serving alongside Pastor Tunde and witnessing first-hand his unwavering dedication to God's Kingdom. He was a man whose life reflected genuine commitment to the call of God, steadfast loyalty to the vision of the Commission, and remarkable faithfulness in every assignment entrusted to him.

Pastor Tunde served with humility, diligence, and an uncommon spirit of sacrifice. He was never one to seek recognition or applause; rather, he found joy in serving Christ and advancing His Kingdom. Whether in leading the church, caring for God's people, or pursuing the salvation of souls, he gave himself wholeheartedly. His passion for soul winning and his willingness to make personal sacrifices for Kingdom advancement were evident to all who knew him.

His loyalty to spiritual authority and his commitment to the mandate of this Commission all the from Canaanland to Germany and the UK. He remained steadfast through seasons of joy and challenge alike, always demonstrating a heart that sought to please God above all else.

Pastor Tunde's home-call leaves a void that will be deeply felt within Winners Chapel Swindon, across the Zone, District and throughout our church family. We will miss his warm fellowship, gentle spirit, wise counsel, and unwavering commitment to the work of God. Yet, we do not mourn as those who have no hope, for our confidence rests in the resurrection and the promise of eternal life in Christ Jesus.

The greatest honour we can give to his memory is not merely in our words but in our actions. We trust God that the legacy Pastor Tunde leaves behind will continue to inspire us all to serve God more passionately, pursue souls more intentionally, and embrace greater sacrifice for the advancement of God's Kingdom. May his example challenge every one of us to remain faithful until the end.

On behalf of the leadership of the Zone, I extend our heartfelt condolences to his beloved wife, children, and the entire family. We pray that the God of all comfort will strengthen, uphold, and surround you with His unfailing love during this difficult season. May He grant you His peace that surpasses all understanding and assure you daily of His abiding presence.

Though Pastor Tunde has finished his earthly assignment, his labour in the Lord is not in vain. His testimony lives on, his impact endures, and his reward is with the Lord whom he served so faithfully.

"Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord... they will rest from their labour, for their deeds follow them." (Revelation 14:13)

Pastor Tunde, thank you for your faithful service, your sacrificial heart, and your unwavering commitment to Christ and His Kingdom. You have fought the good fight, you have finished the race, and you have kept the faith.

Tunde, it still feels like a dream that I wish I could wake out of. Working with you from when we first met in Bremen as an assistant to Rasheed brings back many great memories. I also remember seeing you at the GMC 2025. At this point, I have no way of putting how I feel into words but all I can say is, ‘rest well, in The LORD Jesus till we meet again.

Thank you for everything you did for me. During some of the most difficult times in my life, you stood by me. You prayed for me, encouraged me, and constantly reminded me not to give up because you were praying for me. Your words gave me strength, hope, and courage to keep going.

You never left me or stopped believing in me. I will always be grateful for your love, care, and unwavering support.

I wish I had the opportunity to share with you the wonderful news we had been praying for together. Sadly, you did not stay long enough to hear it from me. But I know that your prayers played a great part in making it happen. God answered your prayers for my life, and I will forever be thankful.

It is with a heavy heart that I pay tribute to my dear friend and brother in Christ, Pastor Tunde.

Pastor Tunde, you made my assignment in Swindon remarkably easy. When I was deployed to raise and train a leader for the work of the ministry, you willingly accepted the responsibility of leading the Swindon church. Your humility, commitment, and readiness to serve God's Kingdom were truly inspiring.

Although your departure has come far too soon from our human perspective, we are comforted by the assurance that you are resting in a better place, in the presence of the Lord. As the Scriptures remind us, "Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord... that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them." (Revelation 14:13).

Your life was a testimony of faithful service, sacrificial leadership, and unwavering dedication to God's work. The impact you made in the lives of many and the legacy you have left behind will continue to speak for generations to come.

You may have finished your earthly race, but your labour in the Kingdom will never be forgotten.

All Glory to our God for a life lived with and spent for Him, in and out of season. As you encouraged others to share the gospel, you walked the talk. Such that on that fateful Saturday morning, at the city centre, the children, V and V, looked out for you to walk towards where we were sharing gospel tracts, as you used to. Halfway through the outreach, concerned they had asked, "Isn't Pastor coming today?" Uncertain, but I reassured them, "Perhaps he is in a pastoral meeting now." Only to be told the next day that you were called home at about what added up to be hours later.
You trudged on, a faithful soldier of Christ... unflinching at every opportunity.
God help us all... till we meet again on Canaan's shore. Amen.

Dear Pastor Tunde,

It still seems like a dream, but when the reality dawned, we can only thank GOD.

For when we live, we live to the LORD, and when we die, we die unto the LORD.

Pastor Tunde, you came, you conquered, you served, heaven recorded your stewardship, the reward will continue to speak in the life of your Family.

The love for the things of GOD, which you demonstrated was felt by all of us at WCI Swindon, and the GOD you have served diligently will keep you rested in HIS bosom.

I am encouraged by the word of GOD, "that they that turn many to righteousness shall shine as stars forever and ever.

Celebrating a faithful man of God . We miss you Pastor Tunde

It is still so difficult to come to terms with your passing. Even now, It still feels unreal.

Every time I called you, or whenever you saw me, the first thing you would say with warm smile on your face was, "Mummy Bishop!" I would always laugh and reply, "Pastor, my husband is not a Bishop o!" We would go back and forth in our usual friendly banter until you would simply smile and say, "It is well." Those light-hearted moments will forever remain precious memories that I will hold close to my heart.

I will also never forget seeing Gabriel cling tightly to your legs while I tried to carry him away, with both of us laughing at the scene. Those simple moments of joy reflected the love, warmth that you showed to everyone around you.

Your passing came too sudden, and it is still difficult to accept that you are no longer with us. Our hearts are heavy with grief, and your absence is deeply felt. You will be greatly missed by me and all who had the privilege of knowing you.

Through your humility, kindness, gentle spirit, and unwavering faith, you were a true blessing to us all. Your life touched so many hearts, and the memories you leave behind will forever be treasured.

May God continue to surround your wife and entire family with His peace, comfort, and strength during this incredibly difficult time, and may He uphold them with His everlasting arms.

Though you are no longer with us physically, your legacy of faith, love, and service lives on in our hearts.

I first came to know Pastor Tunde when he joined Winners Chapel International Swindon in the latter part of 2022. Though the years of our acquaintance may seem few, the depth of his impact cannot be measured by the passing of time. Some lives speak loudly through many words, while others speak more deeply through quiet faithfulness. Pastor Tunde belonged to the latter.

He was a gentleman in the truest sense of the word: calm, easy-going, soft-spoken and peace-loving. He was not a man given to strife. He carried himself with grace, speaking little, yet allowing his actions to declare the substance of his character.

Pastor Tunde was a faithful servant in the vineyard of God. He gave himself wholeheartedly to the work of the Kingdom. When duty called, he answered. When sacrifice was required, he did not retreat. Even when his body appeared weary and the weight of responsibility rested heavily upon him, he would not turn away from the task before him.

If the work demanded that he remain awake into the night, he would do so. If it required him to rise early, stand in the place of prayer or labour beyond what was convenient, he would still be found at his post. Though tired in body, he remained willing in spirit.

He was present at services, faithful at Covenant Hour of Prayer and active in evangelism. He went into the field, reaching out to souls and doing his part to enlarge the Kingdom of God. He did not hide from responsibility, nor did he seek the comfort of the background when the work required willing hands.

Like a steady lamp that quietly gives its light, he served without clamour and laboured without seeking applause.

Pastor Tunde was also a man who valued order. When a rule had been established, he believed it ought to be followed. He was disciplined, principled and committed to doing things in the proper way. He did not easily depart from laid-down instructions, for he understood that faithfulness is often revealed through obedience in the smallest matters.

Beyond his service in the church, we saw in him a loving husband and a devoted father. His love for his wife and son was evident. He was not only our pastor and leader, but also a brother, a friend and a cherished member of our spiritual family.

Today, our hearts are heavy because one so dear has departed from our sight. Yet, even in sorrow, we remain grateful. We are grateful that he walked among us. We are grateful for his service, his quiet strength, his humility and his unwavering devotion to the things of God.

Pastor Tunde, thou faithful servant, thy voice may now be silent, but the testimony of thy life yet speaks. Thy place among us may be empty, but thy memory shall not be erased. The seeds thou hast sown in prayer, service and sacrifice shall continue to bear fruit.

The field shall remember thy footsteps.
The altar shall remember thy devotion.
The souls thou didst reach shall remember thy labour.
And we, thy brethren, shall remember thy gentle spirit.

Though tears may fill our eyes today, we take comfort in the assurance of our faith. I believe that Pastor Tunde is resting in the bosom of the Lord, where weariness is no more, where sorrow has ceased and where the faithful receive their eternal reward.

Farewell, beloved brother and friend.

Thou hast fought thy fight.
Thou hast finished thy course.

You were truly a kind and loving soul. You had a smile for everyone and always made sure those around you were doing well. Your humility was remarkable, you never waited for people to greet you first. Instead, you were often the first to reach out, making everyone feel seen, valued, and loved.

One Scripture that will always remind me of you is:

"Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in good health, even as thy soul prospereth." (3 John 1:2)

You quoted this verse so often that, without even realizing it, I had memorized it. During one of the toughest seasons of my life, those words became a source of strength and encouragement. It is amazing how a verse you casually shared became one that carried me through difficult times.

One thing I will never forget was the love you showed your family. I often watched little Gabriel follow you around, and never once did you push him away or raise your voice because you were busy being "Pastor." Instead, you smiled, patiently spoke to him, and gently asked him to go to his mum. That simple act revealed the kind of father and man you were. Your love, patience, and gentleness spoke louder than any sermon.

The last service I attended with you was on that Wednesday before you went home to be with the Lord on Saturday. Looking back, I cherish that memory even more.

Although our hearts are heavy and we deeply miss your presence, we are comforted by the assurance that you are with the Lord. You served faithfully, loved genuinely, and left an example that will continue to inspire many.

Thank you for your endless service, your warmth, your humility, and the love you so freely gave to everyone at Winners Chapel Swindon. Your life was a blessing, and your legacy will not be forgotten.

We continue to pray that God will strengthen and comfort your dear wife, your children, and the entire family during this difficult time.

Pastor and I met briefly, but from our very first meeting, he welcomed me with such warmth and kindness. There was a calmness about him and a gentle spirit that made it easy to feel at ease in his presence.

The last time our paths crossed, he smiled and said that we still had a lot to discuss. I never imagined those would be the last words I would hear from him.

I also had the privilege of listening to him preach a couple of times, and I admired the calmness and grace with which he shared God's Word.
Even though our interactions were few, I will always remember the warmth of his welcome and the peace he carried. I can only imagine how many lives he touched through his ministry.

May God continue to comfort his family, loved ones, and everyone whose life he touched, and may his soul rest peacefully in the presence of the Lord.

It is heartbreaking to say goodbye to the first Resident Pastor I met when I came to England.

Pastor, your humility, gentleness, and unwavering dedication to God’s work left a lasting mark on my life. I will never forget that fateful night when you shared the pains of ministry with me, yet your passion to serve God never wavered. Your patience in listening to everyone before making decisions was a rare grace I deeply admired.

Your life reminds us that we are only temporary tenants on earth, but our permanent home is in heaven.

Pst. Tunde has fought the good fight of faith and I know and believe that he is resting in the bossom of the Lord with his new status of immortality that he has put on waiting for the resurrection.

Tribute to My Spiritual Father and Friend

It is still difficult to come to terms with your passing. Even now, I struggle to believe that you are no longer with us.

Our final moments together remain etched in my memory. When I walked into your bedroom and saw your lifeless body on the floor, I desperately hoped for a miracle. Sadly, it was not to be. It was a humbling privilege to help prepare you before the coroner took you away. I did my very best to ensure that you departed with the dignity and honour you so richly deserved.

Every Sunday morning, we would catch up to discuss matters concerning the church. You would always begin with, "Bro Feni," before introducing the agenda for the day. Together, we would brainstorm, pray, and work through the challenges before us. What always stood out was the sincerity of your heart and your unwavering passion for the Kingdom of God. Your commitment to God's work was never driven by self-interest but by a genuine desire to see His people grow and His Church flourish.

Those Sunday morning conversations are among the memories I cherish most. Since your departure, Sundays have never been the same. There is an emptiness that reminds me of the mentor, shepherd, and friend I have lost.

Your passing came far too suddenly, and your absence is deeply felt by all who knew and loved you. Yet I am comforted by the assurance that you have gone to be with the Lord whom you served so faithfully. Though we mourn your absence, we also celebrate a life poured out in service, love, and devotion to Christ.

Thank you for your guidance, your wisdom, your friendship, and the countless sacrifices you made for the Kingdom. Your legacy lives on in the many lives you touched, including mine.
