Obituary
Thomas Robert Huelskamp passed away peacefully, without pain, surrounded by family on February 3rd, 2026 at 7:10AM. He was almost 81 years old. Thomas was born on July 26, 1945 to his parents Joseph Huelskamp and Eleanor (Foppe). He was the youngest of 13 children. Born of the Catholic Faith, Thomas was a devout practicing Catholic and set the example of what a true father should do for his family, faith, and children. Those that had the privilege to know Thomas knew he was a private man with a unique gift of having a large and warm heart, as well as his own personality had undeniable humor and empathy. Thomas served over 20 years in the NAVY, served in the Vietnam War, and was a retired CPO. During his Military Career, Thomas earned the Vietnam Service Medal with 3 Bronze Stars, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Navy Expeditionary Medal, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, Phillippine Republic Presidential Unit Citation, 5 Good Conduct Awards, Meritorious Unit Commendation, and several others. He later became a Certified Internal Auditor and worked for McDonnell Douglass Aircraft, and later retiring from Boeing Aircraft in Long Beach, CA. He enjoyed sports and loved watching his sons play baseball throughout life.
Thomas graduated from Mater Dei High School in Breese, Illinois (1963). Thomas earned several College Degrees throughout life. Bachelor of Science, Sociology, University of New York (1981), Masters of Science, Operations Management, University of Arkansas (1986), Masters of Science, Procurement and Acquisition Management, Northrop University (1991). He was the Chairman of Hispano Corporation in Santa Ana, California. He was a member of St. Catherine's of Alexandria Catholic Church in Riverside since 2002.
Thomas is survived by his wife, Jeanette Huelskamp, Sons Joseph Christian Huelskamp {Llaneli Huelskamp}, Victor John Huelskamp {Joanne Huelskamp}, and John Peter Huelskamp. Daughter Cristy Huelskamp (Cale). Grandchildren, Ashley Cale, Thomas Jacob Huelskamp, Joseph Isaiah Huelskamp, Joshua Luke Huelskamp, Madelynn Rose Huelskamp, and Jayden Thomas Huelskamp. He is also survived by his sisters Rosaline Saufnauer, Eleanor Fiascone, and Lorine Wikman.
Thomas is preceded in death by Joseph and Eleanor (Foppe) Huelskamp (parents), Brothers Herman, Gerald, Lawrence, Dennis, Jerome, and Erwin. Sisters Geraldine (Luebbers), Sister Julia Huelskamp, wife Cecilia Huelskamp (Flores) and grandson Chad Cale.
We are very fortunate to be blessed with Thomas on this earth. May he rest in peace and his love and kindness shall be shared with all those that knew him. He will be greatly missed.
Rememberance

Life is short and he took advantage of every minute to be with his family.
