Todd Nicholas Wehrle

To live in hearts we leave behind is not to die.
Obituary
Todd Nickolas Wehrle was born on October 31, 1980 in Toledo.
Son of Dan and Karen; brother of Andrew and Kevin; grandson of Merle and Gertrude Wehrle; and Weldon and Joyce Stump; brother-in-law of Maria; uncle of Elaina and Ellison; a nephew, cousin and friend to many who dearly love him. He graduated from Sylvania Southview High School and later went on to receive an associate’s degree and pursued other educational opportunities.
Todd’s true passions were his creative endeavors. He was an accomplished life-long musician, starting in his early years with learning the piano, eventually mastering the marching snare and drum set, and continuing on with guitars, keyboards and more. He performed in several bands, touring and playing shows in much of the United States, and you can find his work on several albums. In recent years, Todd was focused on audio recording, mixing and production; skills which would enable him to amass a substantial collection of material, some of which he was collaborating with his friend Tony Gozdowski to turn into finished works that represent the expression of them both.
Todd’s creative license wasn’t limited to music. He also was a wonderful visual artist who frequently sketched in pencil and painted as well. He even wrote and published a novel a few years ago.
Todd passed away on February 14, 2026 at 45 years old.
