My baby Sister, every time you came around you inspired me with your energy, We dressed similarly alike, I loved your fashion, you loved mines, You became family at the young age of 20 something, You, Lil Mook, and Kenyatta……Your pretty smile, your chuckling laughter, the way you lit up the empty space when you walked into any room it was all smiles. I will miss our impromptu conversations, you telling me that I inspired you and always been on my shit since i was young, you saw me go through college, graduate, then go back again, open my businesses, Although we didn’t talk every single day, you stayed in my life and checked on me as I checked on you from time to time. You were the little sister that I never had and always thought would be here to call whenever the thought crossed my mind. I love you babe, Forever, but God loved you more than this life. I know you are happy, God smiled when you walked through the gates because your past never defied you and you left here as a Strong Warrior with no crumbs left. Love you lil Sis forever in a day, Don’t forget to visit me often.

Wow. To walk into Starbucks today. So eager to see my girl as usual. Only to see a memorial was unreal. She would always see me walk in and come from behind the counter just to hug me. In the mornings when I walked in I would just walk over to the pick up counter to say "Hey sis" Because she would be enthralled with the window orders, but she would always turn and hurriedly say "Hey bro, Love you".
She was an enigma to say the least. The most loving person you could ever meet and simultaneously the most gangster. I will really miss her. Her energy was unmatched. Her mouth was unfiltered and her spirit and presence was unapologetic. I love you Taina !. May you rest in peace until we meet again.

When Tiana came to Arkansas, I was about 9 years old. I remember the thinking, “man, she is something!” So lively, funny, and outgoing. She “kept it 100” before it was a saying. She was a protector, motivator, and all around good person. None of us are perfect but she was perfectly who she was. I’m really going to miss her and I hate not to hear “ hey lil cousin.“ I love you and I’m so blessed I got the chance to know you 🤞🏽🫶🏽

Working with Tiana was truly one of the best parts of coming to work. She had such a fun, vibrant personality and could make anyone laugh, no matter what kind of day they were having. She brought so much life and positivity wherever she went, and being around her always made work feel a little easier. I’ll always be grateful for the time I got to work alongside her. She’ll be deeply missed, but I’ll never forget the joy and light she brought to so many people.

I use to sit in Starbucks every morning waiting for my carpool. You were so sweet and nice to me while running that store. We talked about everything as if we’d been knowing each other for years. You told me that you were moving to another store and to make sure I come to visit you there. I didn’t get around to it and lord knows I wish I had made it to get one last talk/visit with you. Such a beautiful person inside and out. I still have my Christmas glasses you gave me from Starbucks. Rest peacefully my girl.

From the very first moment I met you, I knew I was going to love you. You had such a kind heart, an honest spirit, and a smile that could light up any room. No matter what life brought our way, nor the distance your love for me never changed. You welcomed me with open arms, and every chance you got, you showered my baby with love too.
You always introduced me as, “My baby boy’s first heartbreak, but my daughter.” And every time we talked, you never forgot to ask, “Have you called and checked on my baby boy?” I promise I’ll continue to do just that.
I’ll miss seeing you every morning at Starbucks, hearing your voice, and listening to you say, “Why is she still here waiting? Why isn’t her drink ready?”
Thank you for loving me as your own. Your laughter, and unconditional love have left an imprint on my heart that will never fade. You will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
Rest peacefully, Ma. Watch over your baby boy, and know that you will always be in our hearts.
With all my love, forever and always,
Lex, your forever daughter-in-law NMW 💕

I met T when I was barely 22, and a new hire at Starbucks on Lake & State. She was the Assistant Manager at the time, and was assigned to train me on the register. One morning during rush hour, I kept making mistakes on the register because I was swiping the buttons like a text vs just tapping the customers selection. She looked me dead in my eyes and said, “Ja wtf is all this swiping shit… press that shit and move on. You bringing me down to the floorboards.” Lol literally been my dawg from that day on. There’s so many other memories I could share…. Sister, I love and miss you so much! I can’t believe we’re here, but your memory will live on through all of us! Forever and After 🤞🏽

Oh wow, where do I start? met Tea working at Starbucks as shifts supervisor on 87th, then We both worked together on western, strong personality but once I got to know her through the years of working together, she grew on me. Always very supportive, she loved my kids, we were like one big Starbucks family, she was just the life of the party, baby you couldn’t tell her she didn’t know fashion, she definitely was a dresser. Always told me I don’t wear nothing twice!!! Ok! Tea you got it!!! lol! Last pic I have of her at my 40th almost 3 years ago, I was dancing so hard I got winded and backed into my wall, she holding me up on the wall all in my face asking me is you cool? I’m like “Tiana I’m not drunk”, she “yes you is”.but I wasn’t lol. We had a great time that day, she wanted pics with everyone there, As shifts we would talked daily on our way to work 4 am in the morning . When I left for a new career she was there to take me out to celebrate my new beginnings, I will definitely miss her crazy tail self. She definitely was a hardworker and a Go Getter! 🫶🏽🫶🏽

Dear Big cousin,
It seem like just yesterday I was talking to you in front of your new apartment. You were just smiling and looked so full of joy and that made me feel so happy to see you happy. You told me that you were going to run some errands to finish getting set up and that you will be right back then you weren't. I will always remember your affectionate smile and your bubbly energy you always made sure your lil cousins was on point when we were around you. you will say, "you cute lil cousin but fixed that collar " or you look fye lil cousin but next time dye your eye brows red too" I'm going to miss you so much please hug my mom for me and tell her I miss her. Today is a celebration because your now at peace so I'm not sad or worried because I know you were one of Gods calling so goodbye for now but not forever.
Love, Pooh Diddy (in your voice)
