Obituary

Thomas (Tom) Duncan Conner, of New Westminster, British Columbia, passed away on October 31, 2025, at the age of 50, after a brave battle with cancer. In his final days, Tom was surrounded by his loving family and friends.

Born in New Westminster on January 22, 1975, Tom was a cherished son, brother, uncle, and friend. Tom graduated with honours from New Westminster Secondary School in 1993. He then attended BCIT, where he received a Diploma of Technology with a focus on Electronic Engineering Telecommunications in 1997. He was a natural athlete who played many sports (soccer, lacrosse, and basketball) while growing up and won many championships, including the Minto Cup for lacrosse in 1994 at Queens Park Arena. Tom had the pleasure of traveling and living/working in many different places  such as, Alaska, Northwest Territories, Switzerland, Australia, South Korea, and many more. He will be remembered for his kind spirit, infectious laugh, and unwavering love for those close to him.

Tom is survived by his devoted mother, Merren Mackie Conner, and his father, William Conner (Jan). He leaves behind his siblings, Ron (Arlene), Sue (Peter), Doug, and Liz (Steve), who will deeply miss him. He was a beloved uncle to his nieces and nephews: Michelle, Nathan (Ashland), Hailey, Matthew (Monica), Kelsey (Jamie), Piper, Charlie, Georgia (Mother Beth), Meghan, Duncan, Cam, Kemper, and Gray and his great-nephew, Peyton.  As well as many aunts and cousins, especially, Auntie Marie, Auntie Bina, Shari and Rob. 
Tom was predeceased by his brother, Ted and his partner Karin.


A Celebration of Life will be held on December 5, 2025, at Centennial Lodge in Queens Park from 2-5 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to a cancer charity of your choice.
