Dedication

With deep sadness, we announce the passing of our sweetest friend Tedi and her beautiful children 7-year-old Rosie and 6-year-old Felix. On July 29th the world stopped for a lot of us, Tedi and her family were hit by a reckless driver on their way home down Apple Valley Rd. Tedi, Rosie and Felix tragically passed at the scene, while Tedi's husband Felix and daughter Elizabeth were seriously injured and are still recovering in the hospital. This family and this world will never be the same without these three amazing souls. 

Tedi will be remembered for her admirable kindness, generosity, and the quiet ability to bring people together. Family, neighbors, nurse colleagues and especially her friends all experienced the warmth and sincerity that made every moment spent with Tedi meaningful. 

Throughout life, Sweet Tedi built lasting connections and touched many lives through simple acts of care at Desert Valley Hospital, where she did 11 years in LDRP, starting in 2015 as an extern/OB Tech, she became an RN in 2016 and by 2022 Tedi was a full-time clinical supervisor, she ultimately progressed to Director of Desert Valley Birthplace LDRP, where she helped bring life into the world and made a difference in people's lives daily. If you knew Tedi as a nurse, you would understand that she filled a room with kindness and love, always dedicating herself to make others feel better through encouragement, conversations that often-lingered in your mind ....even years after, she shared moments that brought warmth and an incredible passion for her purpose in life. 

Family meant a great deal to Tedi. Anywhere Tedi was her family followed. Tedi loved her children dearly and dedicated her life to them with hugs, laughter and of course singing! Elizabeth, Lilly, Rosie and Felix you are completely surrounded by her love.  Tedi also adored her life partner Felix Sr. for over 20 years, they grew up with each other and shared millions of memories, they created a beautiful family and built a foundation of love, dedication, and strength in their home. These two were made for each other.  

Friends of Tedi, past and present she loved you all. There is nothing she would not do for her friends! Tedi was the friend who knew all of your flaws and still chose to love you every single day of her life, she believed in you more than you believed in yourself and always rooted for you no matter how near or far you were. Tedi listened without judgement, laughed without reservation and supported her friends without hesitation. Life's milestones felt sweeter with her by our side. 

She loved theater, she loved singing, she loved her career, she loved the time she spent with family and friends.....she was just full of LOVE! 

Rosie and Felix life was cut too short, they were wonder and light, curiosity and loved wrapped with innocence and gentleness. Every play date, every laugh, every smile, every dance they learned with Elizabeth, and every question they ever asked are stitched into the fabric of our hearts. We honor not just what they were, but who they were becoming, such amazing children Felix Sr. and Tedi raised together. They will live on through us, so we may love others more gently now, and remind us how precious life is, and though their time here with us was brief, their impact is infinite. 

The passing of Tedi and her precious babies leaves a space that cannot be filled. Yet the unique memories, life lessons, and moments shared will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate to know her and her family.
Tedi, you and your beautiful Rosie and Papason will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always and forever.

My mom and siblings were the most positive and kind people to walk the earth. They had so much light in them and I can only wish to be half as positive and wonderful as they were. I love them very much and their memories will continue to live through me and I will do as much as I possibly can to make sure people know how amazing they were.

Tedi was such a beautiful soul. She took so much care of me in the hardest moments of my labor with my son in 2021. I will never forget that. The moment my light became dark you were there to light it back up and let me know everything was going to be ok. I’m sorry God took beautiful people with him but your light along with your children with light forever….

Tedi was one of my strongest pillars that held me up when I needed strength. She called herself my “bonus mom” because she said that “step-mom” sounded like an evil phrase. Tedi never had a mean spirited thing to say about anybody, her love and positivity poured out of her no matter where she went. She brought babies into the world for a living, and loved every minute. For my entire life we’ve laughed together, cried together, and talked shit together. I will always remember how much she loved our little Rosie and Felix and how she would sing to them at night and snuggle them during the day. Every day after work Rosie would run to the front door to give me, or dad, or Tedi a hug and tell us how much she missed us. My memories with all of them remain fond and I will just forever wish that we had more time to get to know them and their beautiful souls. I love you Tedi and I love you Rose and I love you Felix.

Tedi, I cannot think of just one memory because there were countless times you made me smile... But I have to say the most memorable thing about you is your hugs... I swear no one in the world can hug like you! Just like I told you at ciaras wedding I am so jealous of everyone who gets to hug you because it always made my world stop just for a second. I have to also mention the times you would sing me to sleep, those were the best. After a night of partying we would lay in your room and you would sing until I fell asleep. I fucking loved that! I will always cherish that memory of you.
