Obituary

Tanja was a very special person, in fact she was unique.  Vibrant, passionate, creative and always positive, it is hard to believe she is no longer with us.  Creating this page to collect messages, stories, photos and videos that celebrate her life and the lasting impact she has had on so many of us.  Later we will turn this into a physical book we can share with her sons, her proudest achievement, Benjamin and Sebastian.

Dearest Tanja,

Everything about you sparkled. With so many memories that I will treasure forever. You made the impossible, possible, and challenged the norms in your truly unique way. For me, our private conversations about family, something I know you held so dear, will remain with me always, along with finishing a meal with a shot or two of tequila. May you always shine brightly.

Tanja lives in many of my memories first as my student and later on as a dear colleague and collaborator. Her smile and her voice are what I miss the most. Meeting Tanja was like opening wide curtains in a bright sunny day. Life was flowing in!
You’ll be forever missed dear friend.
Till I will see you again…

Dearest Tanja,

I don’t even know where to start… it feels so surreal that you are not here, at least not physically. And there is so much I would love to tell you. I miss you so much.

We have known each other for twelve years, worked so closely together, and shared so many special moments. You have been my leader and greatest mentor twice, an amazing colleague and very dear friend, and the one who invited me to re-join your team in Germany. Thank you for your trust, mentorship and believe in me all these years. You have been the biggest source of inspiration!

For me and many others, you were really ONE OF A KIND!

There is only one Tanja like you: A “Tanja whirlwind” full of positive sparks and butterflies, with the greatest energy, and ideas, along with some exhausting chaos as well, but always with the greatest passion, curiosity, generosity, and gratitude for life.

You cared so much… for your family, Gerry and your two wonderful sons Benjamin and Sebastian, your ACE team and the Hult Ashridge family, your friends, your work - which was your life. You would hardly ever pause because this is what you truly loved doing and being there for your team.

There is so much you have taught me and that I will always remember, especially to always stay positive no matter what, and to give every day the chance to become the most beautiful day of our life.

You will always be in my mind and heart, and I smile when I see butterflies, the most daring and beautiful one will likely be you. 😊 My love goes to you, Gerry and the boys.

Dear Benjamin and Sebastian, I wish you the greatest strength and positivity to go through these challenging times. Please do reach out any time, if you feel like connecting or wanting to exchange some beautiful memories about your mum. There is lots I would love to share with you.

Love Stella xxx

Tanja was the best of us. She was my friend for many years and she will live in my heart forever. I can't imagine how her family must feel but what I can hope is that they will recover to find the happiness and peace in life that she would want for them.

Dearest amazing Tanja,

You’ve left a tremendous void behind, but your contagious positivity, creativity, and “nothing is impossible” attitude will live on with us. I’ll never forget my first interview with you—meeting in that coffee shop, and you asking me to demonstrate my sales tactics right there, in front of everyone. I knew from that moment that I had to be on your team and that you’d teach me more than I could ever imagine!

You did indeed teach me countless lessons over the years, and the greatest of all was the gift of gratitude. I’ll carry that with me always and make sure to pass it on, just as you did.

Thank you for everything, Tanja. That void remains, as you were one of a kind & I’ll miss our laughs, and deep conversations. May you continue to spread your wings in another world.

With love,
Your friend,
Sophie

Tanja was one of the most inspiring persons I have ever met before, always on fire and on an energy level that was far beyond 100%, truly caring for each of her team members and their current mental state. I was impressed by her human-centric approach in business with all our clients. While constantly spamming my Whatsapp with voice messages, and her sometimes chaotic manner of organizing things she made me often laugh and will stay as the most authentic leader in my memories. I am pretty sure you are now with your most beloved butterflies, Tanja.

Tanja was a truly remarkable soul, an incredible leader, colleague, and source of inspiration to so many of us. Her energy, her passion, and her compassion left a mark on everyone who had the privilege to know her.

In every interaction, Tanja brought her warmth and positivity, along with an unstoppable belief that nothing was impossible and she somehow always proved it. She saw the best in others, uplifted those around her, and always approached life with curiosity, a generous heart, and a big smile.

Her beloved sons, Benjamin and Sebastian, meant the world to her and stood as her proudest achievements. I will never forget all the times they joined our calls with a kiss and a hug on Tanja's cheek, and she would light up with a big smile before continuing. That's how I will remember Tanja.

Rest in peace with magic and spark around you ♡

Tanja, it isn't without emotions or sadness that I am writing those words to you. You truly represent what the organization wants to be famous for: you were a "human-centered" leader. I wish I had the chance to know you for much longer. Your creativity made a real impact to our lives and the way we see things. You've been a light and a source of wisdom. You were a role model to us and I wish we will all keep those learnings from our experience connecting with you. We will always remember you. Pauline

Tanja was the bright light that came into my life when I was going through very hard times. She had the ability to transform those around her, spread her light and her positive energy, and believe in magic! She loved India, and loved to tell me of her beautiful and memorable times there. Her love for Bollywood made me smile, and showed me that she believed in love, family, spirituality and all the values she could share with that culture. Most of all, she believed in me.
Her messages to me usually began with 'Hello dearest and beautiful Jini'. We meet to create memories, and we part to preserve them, 'Goodbye, dearest and beautiful Tanja'. Rest in peace.

Without any doubt the smarter person I have ever meet in my life, by far. An this was not her best attribute, for me the most noticeable thing is that she was a GOOD PERSON. The level of humanity and empathy Tanja was irradiating was simply amazing.
All of this with mixed with great creativity and high capability of having fun and nothing is impossible mindset made her a unique person.
My deepest condolences to her very loved sons and husband, despite the loss is unbearable and even if now looks impossible, tomorrow the sun we will bright again.

Tanja, wonderful force of nature, full of energy and passion. With curiosity and care, questioning the status quo and generating ideas at full speed. One had better keep up!

For sure, you challenged me. We did not always agree on everything, and we had passionate exchanges. However, we both knew we agreed on what mattered, on what we were trying to accomplish, and on where we were headed. We both cared enough to debate the best way there, and we always found our way forward. A milestone for me in getting to know you was visiting you and working together for a day in your home, meeting your boys, and getting some work done while laughing... a lot. It was a wonderful day.

Thank you. I feel privileged and honoured to know you, and you will be missed.

All my love and condolences to family and friends during this difficult time.

My sweet Kristine…
That’s how every message would start from you.. only you know what kind of love we had for each other. My sweet Tanja, my hands shake every time I come here to write something, I can’t talk about you in the past… hearing this news destroyed me, you know that.. you left and you took my heart with you, you closed the chapter of my life and left me alone… but you left me with so much knowledge, so much experience, so many great memories, such an examples of being a leader, woman, mother, that I could have never learnt from anybody else in life and I promise you, I won’t let you down.. You know how much I love you and will always do. The very first day we met in person in Chelsea office, you have changed my life completely. You have given me the opportunities in life I could never dream about.. with you I my life I believed that everything is possible in life and everything has a beauty but not everyone sees it..
I love you, you are always in my heart. I feel blessed that I got a chance in my life of knowing you.. I’m so sorry that I couldn’t be with you when you were leaving us. Thank you for everything…
Till we meet again..
Always yours,
Kristine

My dearest Tanja,
You were a true force of nature. Your positivity and resilience were indestructible. You could light up a room with your energy, drive and wit.
Thanks to your empathy, you gave the feeling of being truly heard and seen to every person who interacted with you.
You left this world so early, much too early, and yet you had a positive impact on so many people.
You are dearly missed; rest in peace.

I am endlessly grateful for the opportunity of meeting Tanja, for having the privilege to be part of her team, and for the chance to learn from her — not just as a professional, but as a deeply inspiring human being. Tanja always set the highest of goals and worked tirelessly to exceed them, with a passion and dedication that left everyone in awe (or as she liked to say “wow-ing” everyone). She truly proved that nothing is impossible and ain`t no mountain high enough!

Tanja was like a North Star in our lives — bright, leading, and steadfast. To be more precise, she was like a meteor: brilliant, unstoppable, full of energy, always pushing forward with new dreams and ambitions. Her light burned fiercely, though it was too short-lived.

I will forever be grateful for the professional wisdom Tanja shared and the countless opportunities to grow under her guidance. But what I hold most dear are the lessons she taught me about life itself: about kindness, about compassion, and about the power of love. Tanja`s ability to lift others up, even when she needed support herself, will stay with me forever. I will never forget our last meeting in Milan — how, even in her moments of greatest need, Tanja selflessly continued to support and celebrate everyone around her!

Thank you, Tanja, for everything you've given. The impact you left on me is immeasurable. May you rest in peace, and may your spirit continue to inspire all who were lucky enough to know you!

Sending my deepest condolences to Sebastian, Benjamin, and the whole family at this difficult time!

Smart. Fun. Dynamic. Loved a challenge...the first no was simply part of life and Tanja loved nothing more than finding a solution when it seemed like we had run out of options.

Getting the most out of every day and enjoying the journey were part of Tanja's DNA. She combined stellar business performance and being incredibly caring, generous and attentive, with an amazing sense of intuition, both in business development and with people.

Tanja was one of life's great personalities, I feel fortunate to have worked with her and been part of her journey.
Rest in peace Tanja.

Tanja has been on fire. Always.

This is how I remember her - full of energy, enthusiasm and passion.
Like in the song that she loved “Fire - Garwin de Graw”

Tanja had the most special presence, wherever she appeared, she was lightning others, giving the fire to all around her. It was not possible not to be ignited by her fire.
She has built up the ACE Team and we all learnt from her to not accept a no, that nothing is impossible and how important it is to live the moment, seize the day (carpe diem). She was organizing the best team meetings for us.
She always cared how we are doing and always had an ear for anyone.
She was very demanding, challenging and pushing, which made her and her team successful.

Tanja was positive. Always.
Her fire was shining brighter than the cancer.
So we were not aware what was going on for years.

Cherry blossom stickers and clothes in Ferrari red - this is how I remember her.

I had the pleasure to push the curiosity project with her with the Curiosity Event in Zurich as a highlight.

She loved butterflies and now she transformed herself.

All my condolences to Tanja’s darling boys and husband. Tanja was such an incredible person, friend, mentor… I felt terribly sad when we lost her, we truly lost an angel amongst us. As many have pointed out, Tanja was so warm, caring and loving. She had this amazing talent for making you feel so appreciated and beloved. We have so many beautiful memories that I am not sure which ones to highlight, but amongst others, our laughters, our tequila nights, our travels to Geneva, our photos with Bill Clinton, Dubai (our tête à tête dinner in the Burj Kalifa, which almost felt shaky with the wind), North London for a circus night with our team, her taking us out in a long pink limousine… We met at work but became so close that we stayed friends many years after I left the company, and would keep in touch as much as possible via phone calls and messages, and meeting in person whenever we could and were in the same city. She adored her family and I always thought it was so touching to see her love them so much. I beamed with pride at her graduation from her EMBA, during which, as usual, she shone out with her intelligence and warmth. She had a gift for combining an incredibly strong work ethic with making sure life was enjoyed and lived to its fullest. When I acted as a charity fund raiser for an educational center in the Philippines, she was one of my biggest donors, with no benefit to her. She would tell me that one day her and I would create a company together, to help other women especially, and I feel so sad knowing that Tanja, one of the most caring and beautiful persons in the world for me, will not be with us any longer to accomplish such things. She was always so positive and encouraging, the light of many of the lives she touched i am sure, like mine. I could go on much longer about her special qualities, all I can think of to end this message is that I hope Tanja rests in peace, knowing how much we all loved her, and how much we miss her. I can still hear her voice and laughter, and know I always will. Love, Alice xxx

Tanja, we met at Hult from 2012-2014. Although we have not talked in ten years, it is nice to take a quick moment down in memory lane. Some quick words that I can remember of you were energetic, full of life, and professional. Go be YOU in the next world.

It is with deep sorrow that we remember Tanja Levine, an extraordinary lady and devoted mother to Benjamin and Sebastian. Tanja’s vibrant personality, passion, and boundless love for her family and friends were evident in everything you did.

We first met through our professional engagements, and even through online, your friendliness and warmth were unmistakable. Meeting you, Benjamin and Sebastian in person in Tokyo, Japan, under the cherry blossoms, was a moment I will always cherish.

Tanja, thank you for your kindness and genuine care for me.

Rest in peace, dear Tanja. You will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

Tanja, you were the embodiment of making things happen—always with boundless enthusiasm, energy, and charisma. You had a rare ability to inspire confidence in others, and it was truly a privilege to work alongside you. I learned so much from you, not only professionally but personally, as you constantly encouraged me to find my own path and supported me through challenges.

Your genuine care for those around you made a lasting impact, and I am deeply grateful for all the moments when you were there for me. You will be missed more than words can say. I know Benjamin and Sebastian will forever be proud of the incredible person you were.

Thank you for everything!

Tanja and I first connected over our shared interest in curiosity. She had this amazing talent for creating opportunities and making connections, and always brought an infectious energy. Over the past four years, she had a profound impact on me. Her influence has left a lasting mark on my life and career. I will always be grateful for the time and memories with her. My heartfelt condolences to her family.

Tanja, you were an inspiration. I am so sad you have left us, miss your energy and still can’t believe you have gone.

You were a sparkling personality and energy that lit up a room Tanja. Your passion for life was infectious and I'll treasure the opportunity I had to know you, work with you, laugh with you - and drink tequila shots with you when you made me! ;o)

I'll also hold dear some extra special memories that you helped make happen and were a part of, like when you persuaded Bjorn to hold the SLT meeting in Zermatt, at the top of the Swiss alps, and throw in some husky sledding (a bucket list 'must do' for me!). It was the most hilarious mini bus ride up there too - I'll never forget it.

And coming to attend your team meeting in Vienna, around Christmas time and how extra beautiful the city looked all lit up for the festivities. I bought a Christmas bauble from the market there and hang it on our family tree every year. This year, and for the years ahead, I will remember you with a smile as I place it amongst the branches.

Keep shining your brightness down on us Tanja xxx

Tanja was one of those amazing people who once seen was never forgotten - vibrant, kind, and a force of energy who embodied "Nothing is Impossible".

I have so many happy memories of Tanja - being out on a local team event in London in a Swiss Restaurant in Covent Garden (of course!), Flying to Switzerland to pitch with her to ABB, sharing a room in Dubai for the sales conference and of course having her as an EMBA student on the London campus.

Tanja delivered amazing things and my most amazing memory of Tanja was being with her and Sir Bob Geldof just before going on stage who she had somehow persuaded to be our speaker for the Global Speaker series at the Mermaid Theatre on a dreary January evening. There was nothing dreary about Tanja. An amazing lady. May she rest in peace.

My heartfelt condolences to her family.

When I think of Tanja, two core memories come to mind. The first was during KO, when each table was asked to deliver an elevator pitch. Tanja stood up, her smile radiant and her energy infectious, and delivered a brilliant pitch that inspired everyone around her to join in. The second was after we closed a deal together—she surprised our whole team with roses, orchestrating a grand entrance at the restaurant that made us all feel incredibly special.

Tanja was truly a force of nature and an inspiration to so many of us.

My heart goes out to her family and friends. Sending all of you lots of warmth and love during this difficult time of giref.

O M G !
That was my first reaction when I heard the news. She was one of my first contacts within Hult for my application.
Later on, after my EMBAgraduation , she once asked me to apply at Hult for a job and invited me once to come over as an EMBA ambassador for a 'Open house day' for future potential applicants.
She followed some courses with our 'Austin class' and made career within Hult IBS.
I will always remember here as a very spontanious professional lady.
It's way to early for her to leave. See you on 'the other side'.

We were in the same team me during one of the very first courses I've taken at Hult. While we were preparing a presentation for the last day I was understating almost nothing about the subject, feeling dumb and isolated. She dragged me into the conversation kindly, it was the first time I understood I was not alone there. Her smile was warm and reassuring. Thank you for that move Tanja, without you that day I would probably have given up soon. Big hug.

I will always remember that summer day in 2012 when I clicked on a LinkedIn ad expressing interest in an MBA. Just two minutes later, Tanja Levine called me, and that was the start of my journey with Hult. She was instrumental at a time when I was looking to change and grow. I had the privilege of attending courses and working alongside her while she completed her own MBA. Tanja’s impact on my life is something I will never forget.

I met Tanya at an AccessMBA event in 2011 and her positive and powerful personality convinced me that Hult and an MBA were absolute musts for me. These decisions are not to be taken likely but Tanya was very convincing and easy to trust. She had an infectious personality. It was a life-changing decision and I can't thank her enough for starting me along the road. This is such awful news and my best wishes go to all of her family & friends.

2015: I meet this tall, blonde, charismatic and elegant woman for the first time. A moment I'll always remember.
The years go by and Tanja continues to radiate and leave a trail of energy in her wake. Tanja is a woman who has guided, supported, helped, advised and coached a countless number of business executives who have crossed her path.

Tanja and I met, first virtually, some years ago when I had decided to build our talent development program, a highly customised set of tailored learning interventions. As you do in suchlike process, you start talking to different providers. Came in: Tanja. Her listening skills were amazing. Can you imagine that your heart fills with joy when you are reading a proposal? She really understood where I wanted to go, and next to that offered us a superb team that throughout the years keeps on building and evolving with us. We ended up by winning the Gold EFMD award with this program. She was so proud of it. So if I may add to all the lovely qualities I have read, true customer orientation would be another quality of her. When Tanja was in Brussels she joined me for a coffee talk and this was the only time we met in person. The connection was immediately there and we could have talked for hours. My thoughts are obviously going to her sons, her family but also to all of you. You will and I will miss this beautiful person!

Tanja was simply so much more than words can ever describe. I feel lucky having been able to partner up with her in hosting several management meetings together. I could always count on Tanja to lift the room with her energy, her storytelling and enthusiasm to connect people and topics. I was at awe with her leadership skills, I cannot think of any other person who could get her team to perform on stage at KO leading the performance from afar by her sheer will. Super powers. She will be one of the company legends for years to come. My heart goes out to her family. I believe we all got used to seeing her sons on screen, walking by during an internal meeting, giving her a hug, as she was so proud of her family above anything else. My thoughts and prayers are with all close to her.

Tanja and I shared a truly special connection. As two working mothers in Switzerland, we were both deeply passionate about our families and incredibly proud of the teams we led. Together, we fostered a bond rooted in mutual empowerment, driving local initiatives with a unified spirit.

She always had a warm smile, boundless energy, and a natural curiosity that was inspiring and contagious. Her positive spirit and enthusiasm were truly remarkable, and she is deeply missed.

Sending heartfelt love to her family and offering my full support in any way I can from Switzerland.

Tanja was an incredibly special person, she took care in every conversation to show her love and appreciation. I am so grateful for the many quality times we had and shared together over the past 8/9 years:

- Mindful moments in the gardens at Ashridge where she stopped, paused and smelt the roses and we even meditated together.
- Client pitch meetings in the many across Europe, her brilliance in winning a client over, where she helped me not only hone my voice but also graciously shared her wisdom, watching her in action was always quite something!
- The many different costumes she encouraged us to wear at many brilliant team events where we did incredible, silly and fun things together - we knew that these were moments to cherish, silliness together builds bonds that lasts!
- Hearing about her love story with Gerry as we rode in the back of a horsedrawn carriage in Vienna.
- The kind gestures of messages, sentimental gifts and just being an ear in difficult times.
- All the virtual aperos during covid... and the supportive meetings where I got to see your two wonderful boys, Benjamin and Sebastian grow up behind you, always with a hug for Mum and smile for me.

I am so grateful for these times together.

I am glad that because of Tanja's way of showing gratitude and appreciation, that we actually got to say out loud how much we thought of each other - this is one of the many things I learned from her and will continue in her legacy . She truly believed in the power of every individual to change the world and she definitely did that herself.

Sending love and strength to Tanja's family, her dear boys and her one true love Gerry. If anything is needed at any point, please don't hesitate to reach out, even if it is just for wonderful stories of her. xxxx

There are some people that light up a room with their presence, and Tanja was one of them. She brought such positive energy with her as she pushed us all to be more curious and bold.

Without Tanja our KFR meetings will never quite be the same. She always lifted the energy of the meeting by starting with a tribute to her team, sharing photos and videos of team-building events with songs, dances and even yodelling. She was so proud of the full team and their shared success!

One of my favourite memories of Tanja is having a call with her- I think it was a virtual KFR budgeting meeting- when mid-conversation one of her sons came in and gave her this enormous hug. I still remember how she glowed with pride and love as she greeted her son before we resumed the meeting. I remember thinking that I hope to have a relationship like that with my children when they are teenagers!

I am proud to have called Tanja a colleague and friend.

I first met Tanja as a Hult participant on the EMBA in 2013 which I was managing at the time.

Three things struck me about Tanja:
1. How incredibly energetic she was, always smiling and keen to do more.
2. Relatedly, how hard working she was. She really seemed to never stop, with the EMBA, her job at Hult and her priority, her family.
3. Her devotion and dedication to her family. She was an inspiration to me, the way she was able to switch off and say "this is family time". She talked with me often about her husband and sons and I couldn't quite fathom how she managed to fit 32 hours in the day.

Tanja was also incredibly generous. With no benefit to her she introduced many companies and possible faculty to me at Hult UG and truly enabled us to offer a far far far better experience to our students. And she kindly asked me to participate in the first two Ferrari programs in Maranello... the Queen of all she surveyed.

It didn't matter if we didn't talk for a year or two, she was always a friend.

I was so so sorry and saddened to hear of Tanja's passing.

My deepest condolences to her family... And I hope there is some comfort in knowing she was widely loved by many.

It is hard to put into words the tremendous impact Tanja had on me personally and on so many in the Hult family. It is a rare thing to meet someone who is both bold and brave, and at the same time compassionate and inclusive. Tanja blazed a trail, but in doing so she brought people along with her. My favorite memory was being invited to deliver on one of the early Ferrari programs- she marched into Maranello with her typical grace and gusto, and charmed them all. Only Tanja could have persuaded their senior team
not only to open their secret workshop and share their business challenges, but to give us and our participants access to the exclusive Museo Ferrari for a private dinner after hours. Everyone else was gobsmacked, Tanja took it all in her stride.
Looking back over our messages and exchanges they are filled with ideas and stimulus, energy and insight- but also with generosity, care and consideration that is all-to-often overlooked. I will miss you Tanja, you made the world a better, more positive place, and it was a massive privilege to know you. Rest in peace.

You were such a passionate person who cared a lot about everyone else. I remember many long conversations with you about ensuring everyone felt a sense of belonging and inclusion in any new initiative and you had so many amazing ideas to contribute yourself.
I will always remember you as a smiling and positive person, I don't think I ever saw a day when you weren't smiling.
