“For we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands” (2 Corinthians 5:1).
Bros T was more than a husband, father, brother, and friend. He was a man of quiet strength, unwavering faith, and a heart full of humility and love. To his dear wife, Sister Dolapo, he was a pillar of devotion. To his children, he was a loving guide and protector. To his family and everyone who knew him, he was a shining example of patience, kindness, and faithfulness. His gentle spirit and steady presence left an imprint on every life he touched, and his legacy of love will forever remain in our hearts.
Though death has silenced his voice, his life continues to speak. The memories we shared, his words of encouragement, his laughter, and his prayers are treasures that will never fade. Indeed, we mourn because we love, but we do not mourn as those without hope.
“For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven… and the dead in Christ will rise first” (1 Thessalonians 4:16). This is not goodbye forever, but farewell until we meet again in glory.
To my dear sister Dolapo and the children: I pray that the God of all comfort will wrap His loving arms around you. “Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted” (Matthew 5:4). May His peace, which passes all understanding, keep your hearts steady, and may His strength carry you through every moment of sorrow.
Yes, our tears fall, but our hope stands unshaken. In Christ Jesus, we hold on to the promise of reunion when all pain will be gone, and every tear will be wiped away.
Rest on, my beloved Baba oko, until we meet again in glory everlasting.
With love, faith, and unshakable hope,
Bros T, as I fondly called him, was a rare gem, a man of quiet strength, deep humility, and unwavering kindness. He loved his wife, Dolapo and their children with a devotion that was evident to all, and he was a pillar of blessing, encouragement, and light to his family, friends, and everyone privileged to cross his path. His life was a testimony of grace. He truly fought the good fight, finished the race, and kept the faith (2 Timothy 4:7).
Though our hearts are broken and tears flow freely, we do not grieve as those without hope. We hold fast to the promise that “the dead in Christ will rise first” (1 Thessalonians 4:16). In this assurance, we know that Bros T now rests safely in the bosom of the Lord, free from pain, free from struggle, surrounded by eternal peace.
My beloved brother, Egba omo Lisabi your memory will forever live in our hearts. Rest on, until that glorious resurrection morning, when by God’s grace, we shall meet again at Jesus’ feet, never to part.
With unending love and longing,

He gave generously of his time, wisdom, and strength, always ready to encourage, to support, and to bring joy. His cheerfulness was infectious, his humility inspiring, and his kindness unforgettable.

Writing a tribute to you, Taiwo Oyedele (Omega), wasn't on my mind, but destiny has beckoned on me to pay my respects. From our humble beginnings, married from same family, we shared a bond built on mutual support and a deep appreciation for family values, which you cherished dearly.
Your radiant happiness was contagious, and even in your darkest moments, you prioritized others, offering solutions to my problems while navigating your own struggles. That's the Taiwo I knew – lively, caring, and supportive. Your children adored you, and you embodied the family man, upholding the values that matter most.
I'll never forget how you took my advice to heart, stepping out of your comfort zone to seek a better life. I'm proud of the strides you made, and your determination inspires me still. Though we never agreed on certain things, you patiently hoped that time would heal our differences. Sadly, time ran out, but your memory remains, and I'll always cherish the moments we shared.
Rest in peace, dear Taiwo, baba Peyibomi, baba Dayibomi
May he find rest in God's eternal peace.

Our first meeting was in 1996 at the University of Ibadan. We came for our Masters degree program and were in the same hall of residence, Awo Hall. From there on, we became good friends and brothers. A very jovial person and one with a good heart full of love. I never for once saw him downcast and a very supportive friend. After our program, the relationship continued and his twin brother , Kehinde also became my friend and brother till date.
We lost touch but reconnected again early this year through our mutual friend and ever since then we’ve been planning for a reunion unfortunately he left us unannounced. I will personally miss you but trust you are in the bosom of the Lord.
My sincere condolences to the entire family at this difficult moment of grief.
Continue to Rest in Peace Taiwo.
Smart, meek and kind are three words with which I can describe you. Our friendship since our undergraduate days will forever be cherished. Till we meet in paradise, sleep on beloved friend
My family expresses our sympathy, and our thoughts are with the family during this difficult time.
May the family find peace, love, and comfort in the memories they cherished.
May his soul rest in peace in the mighty name of Jesus.
It's my prayers that God will keep your family and watch over them.
My own respected in-law we love you Sir.
