Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. - Philippians 4:6-7
Obituary
With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Susan Dabao-Williams, a loving mother, Tita, Dog Ma, and devout follower of Christ. Susan passed away peacefully and unexpectedly in her home on March 9, 2026, in Anaheim, California. She was 65 years old.
Susan was born on June 17, 1960, in Iloilo City, Philippines, to her parents Jesus and Angelina Dabao, who preceded her in death. She spent her early years in Manila before moving to the United States, where she built a life filled with love, faith, and service to others.
A devoted Christian, Susan’s faith was central to her life. She prayed often and found joy and strength in attending church services both in-person and remotely. As a member of the hospitality team at The Rock Church in Anaheim, she dedicated herself to welcoming others into a community of believers. Her spiritual devotion inspired those around her and created lasting connections within her church family.
Susan had a generous heart and a deep love for helping others. Whether caring for friends, family members, or pets, she approached every act of kindness with sincerity and compassion. Her nurturing spirit extended to her three beloved dogs (Zoey, Emma, and Bailey) who brought her immense joy and companionship.
She is survived by her son Giles; her nieces Gloria and Genevieve and their families; her cherished dogs Zoey, Emma, and Bailey; as well as a large circle of family and friends both here in the United States and abroad. Susan’s warmth and unwavering love touched countless lives across generations and continents.
Susan will be remembered for her selflessness, faithfulness, and the profound impact she had on everyone who knew her. Her legacy of love and devotion will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.
May Susan's memory bring comfort to all who mourn her passing.

Help Us Find Them Loving Homes
Susan’s senior dogs, Zoey and Emma, are currently in our care following her unexpected passing. Although we have tried to make the situation work, we are unable to provide them with the long-term homes they deserve.
Both are over 10 years old, loving, and may be adopted together or separately. They do best with access to potty pads and regular outdoor breaks, so they will need patient, understanding homes. Both may also need dental care in the future.
Please contact Giles directly if you are interested, know someone who may be a good fit, or can connect us with a reputable senior-dog rescue.
