Obituary

With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Stuart, who was born on August 30^th, 1976 and passed away on July 30^th, 2026.


Stuart will be remembered for making the most of every second of life - he made it count. He never stopped looking at life with childlike wonder and a smile that lit up every room.

He brought true joy and happiness to all those who were lucky enough to have met him. Stuart leaves us all with stories that most would never believe were true were they not there to witness them. He brought kindness, generosity, and the quiet ability to bring people together.

Stuart touched every life he came across in ways he probably never knew - he was too busy chasing shiny things to notice the chaos and love that followed in his wake. Conversations, shared moments, and everyday gestures created memories that will stay with us all for life.

The passing of Stuart leaves a space that simply can't be filled. With that said, the memories, lessons, and moments shared will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate to know him.

I met Stuart online years ago, we played GTA most of the week for years, I spent 1000's of hours talking to him, Stuart was the life of the party and we had a lot in common, he always asked everyone everyday in the party what they had for dinner and he often sent me pictures of his meals that he had made and we kept in touch even off GTA, his stories were great, he was the best host online and he always filled the game up kicking out all the trouble makers, He often told us how much he loved his brother and couldn’t wait to see him even though he wasn’t meant to leave the country, I was shocked and very upset when I heard the bad news. He felt like part of my family and I will miss him so much. My love goes out to Richard and Rebecca aka spec, Stuart had a massive heart and I will remember our chats for the rest of my days.

After my divorce in 2022, I met Stuart in the GTA world and he brought positivity and fun back into my life. We laughed a lot on the long nights... also about his stupid things like losing multiple phones and passports, and even your scooter accident. Every day he asked what everyone had eaten and gave it a rating... most of the time i was not happy with that result... but gonna miss it bro.
A night of gaming will never be the same again without u... shoot some rockets up there.

Stuart was one of the brightest, most smartest minds I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting… (an absolute git at times, but probably too smart for his own good 😉)

He never seemed to realise just how extraordinary he was. His wit, humour and intelligence could leave you in awe one minute and in fits of laughter the next.

The love and admiration you both had for each other was beautiful to witness…. The world is a little less interesting without him in it. x

I’ll never forget the day we took Stuart out on the boat to Carnac Island, Western Australia. Beautiful sunny summer day in December, having a curious sea lion come up and swim around the boat.
We told stories, and laughed while having ocean beers and soaking up the sun. With the WILDEST ride back to shore with some almost overboard shenanigans.
It was a great day, with a great human, who will be missed dearly. Rest easy Stuart. I’ll look after my Poppet for you xx

I'll always remember when I was a young kid playing gta5 and I randomly met Stuart and the rest of the crew. I'm struggling to type this theres so much to say Stuart helped me threw so much of my own issues. I can't believe I'm talking about stew when we all played gta together we were a big happy group and without stew now I'm lost without him he was like a big brother to me he helped me threw the loss of my mother my brother and now early last month I lost a great childhood friend and now Stuart I loved Stuart to bits him and rebecca/rspec. Life's not gonna be the same without you my man I wish I could hear your voice one more time. I always remember playing the song music sounds better with you to annoy stew because he hated the song lol. I’m currently looking at our PlayStation messages and your funny tiktoks untill next time Stuart the shitty Irish weather is horrible but I hope heaven is beautiful upthere Stuart. I’ll always remember the first time we met in Southampton, that cheeky grin of yours as you said, “So we’re getting fucked up, are we?” We had such a laugh, and I only wish there had been more moments like that.

I’ll never forget spec looking at you and saying, “He’s so cute, I love him so much.” You could see how completely she adored you, and seeing her that happy meant so much to me.

And Brighton. I’ll always remember celebrating dad’s 70th birthday there with you. You saying, “I fucking love Brighton!” and somehow we ended up playing Marry, Fuck, Chuck until about 5am! It’s one of those funny memories I’ll never forget.
