Stewart will be remembered as a good friend and colleague to so many. He has touched the lives of many of us over the years. He will be sadly missed, but please leave any thoughts in celebration of Stewarts life.

when Stewart moved to Blairgowrie station I wondered if he would find it difficult to fit in at a rural station after his decades in Perth.
During our first shift he was driving to Coupar Angus and heading up the brae to the town. He had blue lights on but had turned horns off at this point. He spotted a woman walking a wee dug and they were unaware of our approach. Stewart gave them a blast of the bull horn and chuckled with laughter as he watched the dog and the woman visibly leap off the ground. I reckon he'll fit in just fine was my thoughts after that.
Rest Easy Stew

Stewart was always supportive and happy to help, usually with a dad joke thrown in for good measure. He will be greatly missed.

From the first shift we worked where someone had fallen outside PRI where we acted more like Laurel & Hardy than mentor and student to my last chat with Stewart as he switched a vehicle I knew he had my back.
I’ll never forget his guidance(& patience)in helping me navigate paramedic pre entry or our COVID times Friday bacon rolls.
A mentor, a colleague and a friend.
Rest easy xx

Stewart Grant’s impact on the ambulance service is profound. His dedication to education, patient-centered care, and traditional practices has left an indelible mark on the field of pre-hospital care. The loss of such an influential figure will undoubtedly create challenges for those who remain; however, his teachings will continue to guide them and having being supported and being mentored on and off since 1995 throughg my Technician, Paramedic and Team Leader roles has been always been a valued colleague - not forgetting the blanky roles back in the day. Rest easy Stewart - return to base end of shift.

When I started in the service I told Stewart how nervous I was and he said to me, “ You are never on your own here”. That is the way he always made the students feel, he always had a supportive word and he always had a hug. You Stewart were one of the good guys. My thoughts are with Karen and his boys.

I transferred to Blairgowrie as a qualified technician in 2010 and Stew was my Team Leader.
The first nightshift we worked together he gave me homework! (I didn't do it)
He was also appalled that I had never watched a Star Wars film, he loved star wars as anyone who has been in his office in Blairgowrie will know.
I will miss his constant support of me and his cheek.
Love to Karen & boys x

Iv known Stewart , Karen and the boys for years. Stewart was the one who encouraged me to get into the ambulance service. He was so passionate about his work and dedicated to helping others. He always had a smile on his face and always ready for a chat even recently whether in the gym or at the shop . Stewart you were one in a million and you are now one of the brightest stars in the sky . Love and hugs to Karen and the boys xx

Stewart gave THE best hugs. I was going on holiday with friends from work and we bumped into Karen and Stewart at the airport. We all got to enjoy a pre holiday drink together. A memory I'll tressure.
