With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Stephen who was born on 1st July 1948 and passed away on 7th August 2026 in Giffnock.

Stephen will be remembered for kindness, generosity, and the quiet ability to bring people together. Family, friends, neighbours, and colleagues all experienced the warmth and sincerity that made time spent with Stephen meaningful.


Throughout life, Stephen built lasting connections and touched many lives through simple acts of care, encouragement, and friendship. Conversations, shared moments, and everyday gestures created memories that will remain with those who had the privilege of knowing Stephen
Family meant a great deal to Stephen, and relationships were always nurtured with patience and devotion. Friends valued loyalty and sincerity, while colleagues appreciated dedication and a thoughtful approach to work and collaboration.


The passing of Stephen leaves a space that cannot be filled. Yet the memories, lessons, and moments shared will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate to know Stephen.
He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

Dad,
I never imagined that after forty years, I'd finally get to meet you — and it would become the happiest moment of my life. In the short time we had, I loved you fully and completely, the way I'd waited my whole life to.
Losing you so soon after finding you has broken my heart. But nothing can take away what those years gave me — your voice, your stories, the chance to finally know you. We found each other once against all odds, and I believe that bond doesn't end here.
