It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sophia Kim, a devoted mother, cherished sister, and esteemed member of her community. Sophia left this world peacefully on December 24, 2024, at her home in Orange County, California, at the age of 63. Born on September 8, 1961, in Korea, she carried the warmth of her homeland with her throughout her life, touching the hearts of everyone she met.
Sophia's life was defined by her unwavering dedication to her family. As a selfless and devoted mother, she poured her love and energy into raising her two children, Dahye and Dan Kim. Family was the cornerstone of her existence, and she often placed the needs and wants of her children above her own, finding joy in their happiness and success. Her nurturing spirit and boundless affection created a loving home that fostered growth, laughter, and unconditional love.
Beyond her role as a mother, Sophia was a hands-on business owner who took immense pride in her work.

Sophia was not only a remarkable mother and businesswoman but also a devoted member of her community. In addition to her children, Sophia is survived by her beloved sister, Myung Hwa, and her cherished nephews, Yun Ho and In Ho. Their bonds were a source of strength and joy in her life, and they will carry her memory forward with love and gratitude.

A Mass in memory of Sophia will be held on Wednesday January 22nd, where friends and family are invited to celebrate her beautiful life.

Del Mar at 3500 Pacific View Dr from 9AM to 11AM.
We will come together to remember and pay tribute to the wonderful person. While we mourn the loss of our dear, we also aim to cherish the moments shared and the joy brought into our lives.
