Obituary

Sara Mundy died peacefully on October 10, 2024, at the age of 67. Born on August 17, 1957,
She leaves behind her husband Tim four children Laura, Dan, Niamh, stepson Tom and grandaughter Ophelia
Sara died from cancer after an illness of 18 months, although she worked hard to ensure this time was enjoyable for all and gained much joy from the birth of her first granddaughter.
Sara's nurturing and compassionate nature meant her children were her pride and joy, and she dedicated herself to guiding them with love and wisdom, helping them become the incredible individuals they are today.
Sara had worked all her life mainly from the seventies until 2013 with the civil service and then with police administration. Often she would have a second job to support the needs of her family.
Beyond her family and work, Sara developed a passion for gardening and could often be found tending to her plants over an ever increasing area, which brought her immense joy and serenity. She also had a deep appreciation for literature and loved sharing her favorite books with those around her especially in recent times with Ophelia.
Her legacy of kindness, generosity, and resilience leaves a lasting impression on her community and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. Although she will be profoundly missed, Sara's spirit will continue to inspire those whose lives she touched.

Sara's life will be celebrated at a funeral service held at The Star Inn at Star, Winscombe, BS25 1QE, on Thursday, November 28, from 2 to 5 pm. Family, friends, and all those whose lives were graced by her presence are invited to come together to honor her memory and celebrate the beautiful life she led.

Sara Anne Mundy will be remembered not only for the love she shared, but for the lasting impact she left on this world. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the warmth and beauty she so generously gave to others.
