Those we love don't go away,
They walk beside us everyday,
Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed and very near.

My dear cousin Sandra, I have memories of us playing together in Bognor as young children. I was sad when you moved to Canada but was lucky enough to visit you many years later with my children who then became good friends with your children. We had some wonderful times in South Mountain. Summer time in the pool and winter time in the snow. Will never forget xx

I first met Shannen at a private training studio where we were both fitness trainers and through her I met Sandra, because I am trained in the art of Shiatsu I felt I could lessen Sandra’s aches and pains I would go to her condo in lake country and work with shiatsu and light weights then go for walks, she always impressed me with her sense of humour and determination to get better. In later years she was moved into a care facility and I would visit her there more for companionship than anything, then Covid struck and I wasn’t able to go see her and followed by my own health issues I lost contact with her. It saddens me to know she is gone, she truly loved her family and was a good friend to me, I will always remember her kindly

I remember being so excited to have family coming to Canada in 1976. I enjoyed getting to know Sandra in our preteen and teen years. And I have so enjoyed reconnecting with her mum my Aunt Candy in these past few years. Aunt Candy, Karen and Sandra are some very loving and special ladies sticking together through thick and thin, truly beautiful people. My condolences, sending love and hugs to the entire family.

My condolences to everyone who was fortunate enough to call Sandra family, a friend or in many cases both. I would have met Sandra when I was in high school when Shane and I first became friends. Shortly after, I would soon be treated like family when they invited me into their home for a large portion of my last year of high school. Sandra would always make me feel welcome, she always was smiling, listening attentively to what you had to say. She cherished her family and friends, loved living in the moment and enjoying the world as she traveled to see what it had to offer. She knew how to host a great party, and find ways to bring those close to her together so that everyone could focus on what’s important, enjoying life to the fullest. She will be missed but never forgotten.

First and foremost my condolences to you all. I first met Sandra in the late 70’s early 80’s while we were in school at NGDHS. She was a contact that some of us needed back then( can I say this? lol) we would meet up at parties as we both never wanted to miss out on one!
Our friendship really grew as time went by. When she met and married Paul have very fond memories of Sandra,Paul,Dave and myself going out to concerts or just hanging out at one of our houses.
Over the years we shared so so many laughs, went through grief all the ups and downs of life. Her love of her two kids were frontline and centre always,as well as her Mum,Dad,sister, brother in law, nieces nephews, cousins.
I have so many memories which I will never forget.
So my dear friend rest easy, have many a GOW. And thank you for being such a good friend.

Will always remember camping in Delta when the kids were small. Sandra really didn’t care for the camper part but we always had lots of laughs. Later on when we had Smirnoff weekend and no kids just some ladies having a great weekend kayaking and telling stories around the fire was the best.
Good night Sandra we have missed you not being around and now you you get to rest and think of the good times.

Tonight I was walking with my aunt sally and cousin Chelsea and we reminisced about walking down pleasant valley road with weights on our wrists and ankles for ‘exercise’ and red wine. Mum took it really serious and we replicated it as best we could tonight!

I have many memories with my Auntie Sandra, but one of my favourite memories was when she took me to see “Happy Feet” in the movie theatres many, many years ago. She was so very excited to take me, and we absolutely loved it! We laughed until our bellies hurt ❤️
