I have many treasured memories of Rose on our group holidays and our own private lunches. I am disappointed that I organise an activity holiday the first week in August which means that I will miss the service and celebration of her life. I will be thinking about her throughout the day.
Service

Tuesday 4th August
10:30am – Service at St John’s Church
George Lane, Read, Burnley
12:15pm – Private committal at Burnley Crematorium
(Family only, please)
Accrington Road, Burnley, BB11 5QD
1:15pm – Celebration of Rose’s life at The Higher Trapp Hotel
Trapp Lane, Simonstone, Burnley, BB12 7QW
We would love for everyone to wear a splash of colour to help celebrate Rose’s life.
Family flowers only, please. If you wish, donations in lieu of flowers are kindly welcomed in support of Pendleside Hospice: www.pendleside.org.uk/donate-to-us
Parking
There is no on-site parking at the church.
Roadside parking is available on Straits Lane (recommended) and George Lane, followed by a short walk along the church path.
Additional parking is available in the village car park just off Whalley Road (A671), behind the Read and Simonstone Constitutional Club.
