Ronald L. Beamer

The world was his canvas, and he painted it with laughter and love, one click at a time.
Obituary
Ron Beamer, born January 3, 1947, left us for his next adventure on June 10, 2025, at the age of 78. Ron had a quick wit and a generous spirit, and he will be deeply missed. Married to his beloved Mary, on Valentine’s Day 1972, they shared countless happy memories together, especially the times they could spend in Carmel-by-the-sea.
Ron was the proud father of one child Eva Mae, and step-father to Janice and Wendy, whose lives he enriched with humor and support. He was also a proud grandfather to two boys, Grant and Will, who have continued the tradition of bringing humor and joy to everyone they meet.
Family was everything to Ron, and many family trips were spent in California visiting his mother Alpha Mae and his four siblings, often gathering for elegant parties.
Beyond his deep love for family, Ron was passionate about many other interests and hobbies. Photography, motorcycles, bicycling and technology. These brought him a lot of joy and turned every day of his life into an adventure. Through his lens, he enjoyed capturing the simple and dazzling beauty of flowers and nature, the elegant lines of classic cars, and of course, portraits and slices-of-life photos of family and friends. Four wheeled conveyances were not his only foray into the subject. Ron was an avid motorcycle rider, and later turned that into a love for bicycling. His career in technology carried over into personal life, where he enjoyed computing, networking, scanning, and printing the photos he took. Ron enjoyed experiencing the world, be it through the lens of a camera or long ride on the open road. Those that knew him, knew of his love of life and that he was a kind, generous, and punny man.

We will come together to remember a wonderful man, husband, father, grandfather and friend. While we mourn the loss of him, we also aim to cherish the moments shared and the joy his puns brought into our lives.
Ron loved chocolate chip cookies and we ask if you have the time to make a batch of your favorite cookie recipe to share.
