Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal.
Obituary
Robin Renee Brown was born on September 5, 1967, in Detroit, Michigan. On May 30, 2026, after a courageous battle with a terminal illness, God called her home to eternal rest.
As a young child, Robin’s family moved to Oak Park, Michigan, where she spent her formative years. During her school years, she was actively involved in sports and a variety of school activities. It was there that she formed many lifelong friendships, both through school and her church community, relationships she treasured throughout her life.
With an adventurous spirit and a heart full of determination, Robin moved to the Atlanta, Georgia, area shortly after graduating from high school. While Michigan was her birthplace, Georgia became the place she proudly called home. Not long after relocating, she met and married Vincent Brown Sr. Although their marriage eventually ended, together they were blessed with two beloved children and the joy of a cherished granddaughter.
Robin built a full and meaningful life in Georgia. She devoted herself to raising her children, pursued successful business ventures where she served in leadership roles, contributed to various organizations, and became an active and respected member of the football community.
Robin will be remembered as fierce, courageous, confident, and strong, with a vibrant personality that could brighten any room. Her beautiful smile, infectious laughter, and genuine warmth made everyone feel welcome when you met her. She never met a stranger and had a remarkable gift for initially connecting with people. Robin embraced life wholeheartedly and lived it on her own terms with strength, authenticity, and unwavering determination.
Robin was preceded in death by her childhood stepfather, Raymond Leaks.
Robin leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Carole Ann Harper (David); her siblings, Suanne Lee Hunt, Raylon Yvette Leaks-May, Raymond Steven Leaks (Ricardia); her son, Vincent Bernard Brown (Melissa); her daughter, Raven Tiara Brown; and her beloved granddaughter, Sophia Rose, along with countless family members to include cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, extended family, dear friends, and all whose lives were touched by her.
Though our hearts are heavy with her absence, we find comfort in the memories she leaves behind.
She will be missed!
Until we meet again

Memory wall

We became closer as time progressed! A day doesn’t pass with me not reflecting on our neighborly journey of sister/neighbor friendship!!
Robin you are missed, but never forgotten 🫶🏾
Thank you God for sharing her with us!
There are so many parts of her I never want to forget—her laugh, the things she would say, the stories she told, her cooking, the way she made people feel, and all of the little moments that made her her.
This photo is one of the last I have with her in the beginning of her illness. When I was working in the news industry she made it her mission to visit me in EVERY city I worked in. This was in Richmond, Virginia. We had bbq, watched movies, got ice cream and truly just had a mommy and daughter weekend. One I will never forget.
So if you loved my mom, knew her, grew up with her, worked with her, laughed with her, or just have a memory of her that still makes you smile, please share it here. A story, a photo, something funny she said, a moment you’ll always remember—anything we would love to hear.
I want this to be a place we can come back to and remember her through all of the people whose lives she touched. ❤️

Service
We will come together for a Celebration of Life to remember and honor her on Robin’s birthday. While we mourn the loss of our mom, daughter, sister, and friend, we also want to cherish the moments we shared and the joy she brought into our lives.
Your presence would mean a great deal to us during this time of remembrance and reflection.
The celebration will be held in her home state of Michigan. For our Georgia friends and loved ones beyond who are unable to attend, please share your memories of Robin in the “Memory Wall” section so we can include them as part of the service. ❤️
