An angel lived among us, a gift from God above.
She showered us with kindness, and shared with us her love.
Obituary
A loving wife, devoted mother, and exemplary woman of faith, Robin Denise Ayers was born to Deborah Chiccoa and Woodrow Davis on October 12, 1979, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
She moved to Los Angeles, CA in 1984, at the age of four. Robin spent her formative years in the LAUSD school system. She graduated from Cleveland Charter High School in Reseda, CA, and went on to pursue her bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising from Brooks Institute in Long Beach with her sights set on impacting the world of apparel. However, her path led her down a different road. Robin accepted a job with the Norwood family; an influential family in the entertainment industry, who saw her innate talent for relating to people and offered her opportunities to interview celebrities. This began her prestigious and successful career in entertainment.
Known for her effervescent personality and loving spirit, Robin masterfully held several career titles including Motivational Speaker, Radio Host, Author, and Entertainment Journalist. Over the years Robin interviewed countless stars and industry titans such as Keith Sweat, Brandi Norwood, Sidney Poitier, Will Smith, Magic Johnson, Angela Bassett, and Laila Ali, to name a few.
Amassing legions of supporters around the country through appearances on major platforms like OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network, FOX, and BET, Robin became a trusted authority in her field, and the industry came calling. As a result, she was able to lead in and create a canon of signature content including KBLA’s The RA Report with Robin Ayers and AfterBuzz TV’s, The Power After Show. Robin also published two books; Unspoken Languages: Making Your Beliefs Speak for You and The RA Report: Bankable Business Nuggets for the Rising Entrepreneur. Robin’s legacy and impact within the industry has been forever cemented.
With all of these accomplishments her greatest roles that she esteemed most were that of Wife and Mother. Robin met the love of her life, Robbie Ayers, at Living Praise Christian Center, and they were married in 2005. They were blessed with remarkable twin daughters, Brooklyn and Madison, who were her world. Her joy came with spending time with her family and making memories that will last a lifetime. Her compassion, kindness and bright smile left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her. To say that her family will miss her greatly is an understatement.
Beyond the lights, camera, and action of Hollywood, Robin was on divine assignment. Her mission was to help people she encountered uncover their life’s purpose and walk boldly in the direction of their dreams. Often drawing from her own personal stories of triumph and challenge, her life truly served as a masterclass which has taught, fed, and inspired the lives of many.
Having fulfilled her purpose in life, Robin earned her angel wings on December 5, 2024, at the age of 45. She is survived by her husband, Robbie Ayers; daughters, Brooklyn and Madison; mother, Deborah Chiccoa; parents-in-law, Wilbur and Geri Ayers; brother-in-law, Matthew Ayers (Brittany); sisters, Leila Rucker and Tasha Davis, uncle and aunt, Michael and Penny Thompson; grandparents, Charles and Brenda Hicks and Jacqueline Deruso, and a host of beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
With her final earthly assignment complete—and a job well done—Robin will now exclusively report from Heaven’s gates, covering the majesty, glory, and power of the biggest and brightest star she’s ever interviewed, her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

“IYKYK…….” I can hear Robin saying this loud and clear because truth is no matter the time or distance between our meet ups or God’s devine intervention WE WERE LOCKED IN. I’m grateful for the time that was allotted in our lives to do things we loved and I appreciate the genuineness of who/how she was. Anytime we connected it was sure to be smiles, hugs, words to empower one another, encouragement, support, and we dare not leave out the fun! Business is going to get handled along the way as needed yet we would absolutely enjoy and celebrate LIFE! Robin LIVED!
My heart goes out to the family during this difficult time. Robbie, Madison, & Brooklyn…Robin absolutely adored you guys. You were the joy and light of her life. Please keep the torch lit and know that God has His arms around you as well as your special angel watching down on you now.
It’s all love 💕 #Sisterhood

Sending love to her and her fam and all the ones who's lives she touched

Robin was a gem in every sense of the word. As a fellow media personality, I deeply understand the sacrifices she made and her unwavering passion for telling authentic stories that touched lives. She brought light and depth to every project she was part of, and her legacy will live on in the countless lives she impacted.
She was loved by so many, and her loss is truly felt across the media and creative community. My sincerest condolences go out to her family, friends, and all those who cherished her. May her memory forever be a blessing, and may her light continue to shine through the stories she told and the lives she inspired.
Rest in peace, Robin. You are deeply missed. ♾️🕊️🙏🏽
With love,
Desirae L. Benson

when Brandi called me and broke the news, i couldn’t even focus on the nonsense going on in my own life. My first thought was how Robbie, Brooklyn, and Maddison would go on. i knew the peace and strength of GOD would have to carry them thru. then i thought would less bright the world would be without you physically here. Clowning around with you and B, Robbie and everyone else from LPCC over the years church family isn’t just a family inside the walls, it’s a faith filled family that does life together. i remember when u hosted the event for your book and called me to assist. it was NO QUESTION. front line bcuz i knew u would have done it for me. you have inspired more people than you know. I appreciate the memories and laughs over the years and of course sad they end here, yet i can rejoice we will all reconvene when we get to eternity.

Rest well Robin. 🕊️
Over the years, I followed and supported her online ventures, cheering on her growth. Professionally, I even sent a few trusted contacts her way through Facebook groups, a gesture usually reserved for a select few in the PR and entertainment world.
I’m a naturally enthusiastic person, and Robin radiated that same energy. My heart goes out to her family and friends as they navigate the profound loss of such a remarkable woman—a beloved friend, mother, wife, and community member. Wishing them strength and healing in this difficult time.
Robin was such a wonderful woman, full of kindness and compassion, always ready to lend a helping hand or share a warm smile. Her laughter was contagious, and her spirit was up-lifting. She had a unique gift for making everyone feel valued and accepted, and her presence could light up any room. There was an undeniable magic in how she connected with people, and she had an innate ability to bring out the best in others.
Together with her husband, Robbie, and Robin created a beautiful partnership that stood as a testament to love and devotion. Their journey together was filled with unforgettable moments, adventures, and a shared commitment to making the world a brighter place. Their love story was an inspiration to us all, showing us the power of unity and support.
Though she may no longer be with us in body, her spirit will forever remain in our hearts. Robin will truly be missed, but your light continues to shine through your two girls and husband.
BAMM
Found an old photo from a party that she sent me. No one could do that smiley pout on a photo like my fellow twin mana Robin. Try as I might, I looked silly, but the point was that Robin was fun-loving and lived life like none other. Always a joy to be around and so accomplished as she paved her way as an author, host and on-sit personality.
Blessings for keeping Robin’s memory uplifted today and always! 🙏🏾🕊️

we didn’t talk much but we would always hug each other and call each other beautiful. She was the first to make me feel welcomed at Believe LA. She was a real one. Her Spirit and energy was so warming. She was always the same. Her fruit always showed through her smile. Pastor teach about we are the church. Robin had a beautiful church and I would go to her church any day. Sending my love to the family.
