Reginald Nepaul

Today, I say goodbye to my dear friend, Reggie. Even though my heart is heavy with grief, it is also filled with profound gratitude for the blessing of knowing him and for the many wonderful years of friendship we shared. You were more than a friend to me—you were my brother. Your kindness, generosity, humility, and willingness to help others defined the man you were.
Your knowledge as a "Master Mechanic" was one of the greatest gifts you shared with me that I will forever cherish. Those evenings after leaving my office, I would head to your garage, where we would spend hours talking about motor vehicles, laughing, watching you solving mechanical problems, and simply enjoying each other's company. Later, we would go to your home, where Pat would greet us with her warm smile and a delicious dinner. Those moments of fellowship and friendship were also shared with my sister Grace who occasionally visited Pat and the kids.
I vividly remember when you migrated to the United States, your words to me were, "Trev, I'm not worried about your motor vehicle because you know exactly what instructions to give the mechanic." Those words meant so much to me because they reflected the confidence you had in me to manage my own motor vehicle over the years.
To my beloved goddaughter-Ava and siblings Michael and Reggie Jr., I want you all to know how proud your father was of you. He was a remarkable man whose love, strength, generosity, and kindness touched so many lives. His legacy lives on in the family, and I will always be there to encourage, support, and love you.
Even though our hearts ache because he’s no longer with us, we take comfort in knowing that he is now resting in the loving arms of our Heavenly Father.
Thank you, my dear friend, for your laughter, friendship, and the countless memories we shared that words cannot fully express.
Reggie, You will always be remembered.

I am deeply saddened to hear about Reggie’s passing. We knew each other for a relatively short time, but I would always look forward to re-connecting with him at my wife’s family reunions in Florida and Jamaica. We enjoyed each other’s company, had an intense devotion to family, and believed in hard-work and excellence. I admired his humility, quiet confidence, and of course sense of humor. I will cherish his memory forever.
Rest in eternal peace my friend.

Miss you Dad

Reggie was not a brother-in-law, he was a brother. My only regret is that I did not get to meet or spend more time with him sooner that I actually did. He was so attentive and kind when we were together at our family reunions. He was disarmingly quiet but start talking to him and soon you would be rolling with laughter because he had the funniest stories. My husband spent time with Reggie at our first get together and came home thinking he was an expert on cars. Before our reunions, my husband always asked multiple times "Is Reggie coming?" because truth be told, he looked forward to seeing Reggie more than anyone else. We will miss him so.

So many great memories with Uncle Reggie. We will miss him dearly but will cherish the memories we have. He will be in our hearts forever. Sending Love to Aunt Pat and the whole family.

It is with great sadness that I post this tribute. The relationship between my family and the Nepaul family goes back more than 50 years. I remember Reginald as a very pleasant businessman.
I recall being a passenger in my mother's car when she would visit Reggie's garage in Savanna La Mar.

I attended Manning's School with his brother Florizel(deceased) His Brother in Law Roy Grant taught me mathematics at Manning's, His sister Verelyn was my hairdresser for while after I graduated from Manning's and I got to know his sister Edna(deceased)very well also.

I also knew very well, Reginald's older sibling Zachariah (deceased) Mass Zachy, as he was affectionately known. A very pleasant and Philantropic pillar of the business community in Savanna La Mar.

Reginald lived a long and fulfilling life. May his Soul Rest in Eternal Peace and may God grant his Family and Loved Ones the strength they need in this time of their bereavement.
