RIN MEMORIAM | RAMESH HIRANI (1973–2025)

Founder of Reset From Diabetes — A Visionary Coach, Devoted Father, and Global Changemaker

London / Ahmedabad, 12th June, 2025

As the world mourns the victims of the tragic Air India Flight AI171 crash that claimed lives on 12th June’25, one story that remains to be fully told is that of Ramesh Hirani — a beloved family man and the visionary founder behind the wellness movement Reset From Diabetes.

Ramesh, aged 51, was in India developing a new wellness project when his life was cut short. Born to Mr. Hirji Virji Hirani and Mrs. Amarbai Hirani, Ramesh is survived by his wife Tina, his brother Pritesh Hirani (53), and his three beloved children: Yuvan (22), Anya (19), and Sekani (3).

His death has left an immeasurable void, not just in his family, but across the international wellness and coaching community where his work had quietly yet powerfully transformed lives.

A Life Devoted to Healing and Empowerment

Ramesh Hirani was the founder of Reset From Diabetes, a transformative coaching programme that helped people reverse Type 2 diabetes naturally. Blending science, compassion, and culture-conscious coaching, his mission spanned continents — with clients across Africa, Europe, and Asia.
His approach went beyond food and metrics. He listened deeply. He saw people as whole. Whether guiding someone through lifestyle change or designing detailed protocols, Ramesh approached every interaction with his hallmark warmth, humour, and humanity.

“Whether it was cooking a perfect bowl of porridge or making Pizza of Cauliflower, designing a new business idea, or cycling at dawn to live longer for his children — Ramesh gave everything his whole self,” shared his wife, Tina, who now bears the grief of his loss and the responsibility of preserving his legacy.

Those who knew him speak of his unshakable integrity, his joyful spirit, and his love for music, coaching, and connection. He had an effortless way of turning the simplest moments into something beautiful. Clients often describe their healing journey with him as "life-changing and life of party" not because of prescriptions, but because of the belief he instilled in them.

To honour Ramesh’s legacy and the lives he touched, we have created a Tribute Wall where you are invited to share your memories, prayers, or words of appreciation. These messages will be shared with his family as a lasting remembrance of the impact he had on all of us.

Let us come together as a community to celebrate a life so beautifully lived.
With heartfelt gratitude!

In a world often clouded by doubt, Ramesh shone brightly, illuminating the path towards health and wellness. As a diabetes reversal coach, his passion was contagious, uplifting everyone fortunate enough to meet and work with him. From the very first webinar, his energy enveloped me like a warm embrace, capturing my heart and mind. Each word he spoke resonated with hope, igniting the drive within me that knew it was possible to achieve the desired results.
With humour and passion, Ramesh shared his extensive knowledge, firmly believing that each individual had the potential to reclaim their health. His unwavering support and dedication were pillars that held the RFD community together. Even in moments of despair, his reassuring voice reminded us that we were not alone. Ramesh will forever remain a beacon of inspiration, a guiding star in my life. May your soul rest in peace, dear Ramesh, and may your incredible legacy continue to inspire countless others.

My connection with Rameshbhai started with my enrolment into his diabetes-reversal programme. During the journey, he developed a deep empathy with me, always inspiring, was endlessly patient and willing me on. The reason he is a giant of a man in my eyes is that he ended up teaching me how to stay positive, to believe I would be successful and through his coaching style conveyed that he had a personal stake in my success. He did not judge. Such was his larger than life presence, it is hard to believe that he has left us. I am deeply grateful to him. To his wife, children and parents , please accept my sincere condolences. May the Almighty bless his soul and give you strength. I will miss him and always remember him!

Ramesh, I thank God for the opportunity to know you in Reset Diabetes which I joined a few weeks ago. We just had a zoom meeting on the 7th June not knowing you are saying goodbye to us. You spent a long time to answer my question. It is a great personal loss to me. You are very friendly, helpful and jovial. May your soul rest in peace.
