I feel truly privileged to have known such a wonderful dad to many of us . He treated all of his son's friends as if we were his own sons, always showing kindness, warmth and genuine care for everyone around him, his doors are always opened to welcome us all, whenever we visited Ilorin.
I will always cherish the conversations we shared about Manchester United and advice about life. His passion for the club and his positive spirit made every discussion memorable.
He was a man who always wished others well and left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
Rest in peace. My heartfelt condolences to the entire family. ❤️🕊️.

Though I still cannot bring myself to believe that you are gone.
For days, I waited, half-expecting a surprise call from you and Mum. But the call never came.
So now, "like others," I will pretend to have accepted that you are no more. 💔
A few years ago, when this picture was taken at your 80th birthday, little did we know that you were quietly telling us what we refused to hear: time ⌚ is running out. ⌛ Your pose in that frame now seems prophetic, symbolic, and undeniable.
Dear Father, To say that you will be missed is an understatement, a hollow word for a loss so vast. But be rest assured: we will cope. Not because it is easy, but because you raised us to be strong.
Rest on, Dad. ❤️

Every time I missed a call from home, I would anxiously rush to return it — knowing I had a father who had crossed the 80-year mark. More often than not, it was always Dad and Mum, checking up on their baby, their lastborn.
Now I'll hear your voice no more — a thing I never imagined.

A devout Christian... Lover of Hymns and good music... I'll miss hearing him sing on our birthdays. An intelligent contributor to conversations around Sports Politics and general life topic.
