I just wanted to share 2 memories of Auntie Pippa that I thought of today:
- a few weeks or so after I had Benji she turned up, unannounced on the doorstep with an armful of gifts. It was so unexpected, she had never popped in before, but it was so lovely to have her all to myself for a few hours. We chatted about all sorts while we drank tea, ate biscuits and Benji fed/slept. It was so lovely to have her company, and I hope she knew how much I appreciated her visit.
- this is a fuzzy memory so I may not be 100% on people but the principle definitely happened...she dropped in at mum and dad's after having been for a big food shop (car full of food - including cold and frozen). She stayed for 1-2 hours with the car parked in the sun. I believe she was then heading off to Matthew's? Either way, it made us chuckle as half the stuff must have completely melted/been ruined by the heat, hehe.

You will be missed Auntie Pippa xxx

The Timeshare 2025 -
Auntie Pip, Uncle Wreeks, Lizzy and I played a spot of tennis - my, What fun we had! No ‘SORRY!’ allowed! Lots of chatting and fish and chips followed. A fond memory that I will cherish. Along with her wonderful flower crown that she spent hours crafting at Georgie’s 40th, especially for mine and Gary’s wedding where she danced the evening away. Thanks for all the slimming world chats Auntie Pip. Love to your gorgeous family. We love you xxxx

A treasured memory that I wish to share about Pip.. Is being on An Annual Young Women Camp.. a small group of us were curious 16 years olds wanting to know how to drive!... Pip being kind, generous and BRAVE was good enough to let a small group of us have our first experience behind the wheel her Blue Mini Metro one spontaneous afternoon at the end of the week, on a very uneven camp field!
When it got to my turn .. after doing somewhat well. I managed to 'Ground' the car! and with her always 'calm & gentle mannered way Pip got back in the driving seat. We then had to get out and push the car free...

Thank you Pip.. for your generosity that you shared with me and so many who you touched our lives for good. Xxx

To All the Parishes and Priers,
Clive and I were so sorry to hear about Pippa's passing. It was only a few weeks ago that we saw her, and she was her usual serene, smiley self. No sign that she was unwell. She was so brave.
I remember Pippa from when I was about 8. Auntie Pat invited me to stay with them all for a few days. I am the older of only two children, so being with the seven Priers was quite daunting. I have a clear memory of Pippa at that time. Being seven years older than me, she seemed very grown up; but she was very kind to me and helped me relax and enjoy my visit.
I was delighted last year when she came to my birthday party. It was a long way to come. But that was Pippa - a great family person, and always smiling.
Pippa you'll be sorely missed. Rest in Peace.

Pip and I met some 20 years ago, at Penny’s hen party.

We share two wonderful grandsons and swapped stories and news of them fondly.
We shared a love of gardening, singing together, aquarobics and social get togethers. Thankfully I was able to visit her lovely new home and it was there I heard of her health struggles. I will miss Pip greatly as a friend and fellow grandma.
Till we meet again.

Dearest Pip, I met you so many years ago as one of Jo's clan. Our paths rarely crossed except at Prier dos. It didnt matter, you were always so lovely and welcoming and it felt like it was only yesterday we saw each other. Blessed to have known you Pip. Now you can party all day long! God Bless, you are sadly missed by all. Basher xx

Pip and I worked together in the Young Women’s organisation at church. She was such a fantastic person to have by my side, always optimistic and cheerful, definitely a ‘cup half full’ person! She blessed my life and I’m so pleased we had a chance to catch up just a few short weeks ago. Farewell Pip, til we meet again xx

The last time I saw Pip was maybe five years or so ago (although time has the ability to cloud my memory). She was still the same, I’m glad to say: calm and steady, cheerful, always with a laugh in her voice, genuine, an all round lovely lady whom I was so pleased to see again. I was so sorry to hear the news of her passing, especially to cancer. Pip, you made my life richer for knowing you. Till we meet again xxx

I have known Pip for too short a time. Meeting her at singing in Lydbrook a few years ago, Pip always had a lovely wide sunny smile which lit up the room everytime she entered - often late but always announced by her recognisable steps on the stairs 😊. I will miss your smile, sense of humour and eternally optimistic outlook Pip. Xx
