Philip M. Oxley

Obituary

With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Philip Oxley, who was born on April 19, 1948 and passed away on July 20, 2026 with his daughter by his side. He had a very quick battle with cancer. 

Phil leaves behind his daughter, Jennifer (Geoff), and three grand children - Mackenzie (6), Errol (3) and Leroy (1). He also leaves behind many family members in Ontario, including three brothers - Martin, Michael, and Paul. 

Phil had a great love of the outdoors, whether it was simply going for a walk in the neighbourhood, sitting outside in the backyard, or camping. He really enjoyed camping in his beloved A-frame trailer, and fly fishing at one of his favourite lakes for rainbow trout.

Phil also loved to spend time with his grand children. Some of the best times were spent running around in the backyard, coloring pictures together, and having pillow fights.

Phil will be deeply missed.
