Obituary
With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Peggy Anne Pontier-Renery who went peacefully to heaven on September 1st, 2026. She was 75.
Peggy graduated from Clifton High School in 1968 where she proudly represented her school as captain of the cheerleaders. Peggy was an outstanding student continuing her education at Wilson College, receiving her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Williams College and her Masters in Biological Sciences from Rutgers University. Peggy ended her days in the San Francisco Bay Area with Len, her husband of 48 years. She always had fond memories of her childhood in Clifton and her family vacations on the Jersey Shore.
Peg worked in the pharmaceutical industry for 40 years with numerous awards for exemplary performance. She loved to travel and was able to visit a number of countries around the world. She will be warmly remembered by countless friends, colleagues and, of course, her family.
She leaves behind her husband, Len, her son and daughter-in law, Michael and Natalia, her daughter and son-in-law, Anna and Rich Tyler, her grandchildren, Max, Isabella, Julian and Nico who were the apples of her eye! She also leaves behind her brother and sister-in-law, Dr. Paul and Nancy and her sister and brother-in-law Cynthia and Stan and her sisters-in-law Janice Beckwith and Lisa Handalian.
Peggy is predeceased by her parents Warren and Frances, her younger sister, Patricia and her grandnephew Jacob Paul Narvid.
