I feel so blessed to have had her as my sister-in-law and to have shared time with her this past August. One of my fondest memories over the years is how, whenever Bob would tease her, she’d respond with that familiar “Oh, Bob,” followed by the most heartfelt chuckle. It was the kind of laugh that could fill a room—warm, genuine, and full of light. You couldn’t help but smile when you heard it.
Peg’s love for her family was endless, and the way she cared for everyone around her was such a gift. May you find comfort in the beautiful memories you hold and in knowing how deeply she was loved by all who knew her. Her spirit will continue to shine in every life she touched.
With all our love and heartfelt sympathy,
Kathie and Dale
Before the day of the party, Peggy had made a video of Bryan answering questions that Jaki was eventually going to also answer at the wedding shower to see if the answers matched. They were the questions you’d expect, like “Where’d you two go on your first date?” and “Who’s the better driver?” but my favorite parts were the ones that weren’t even supposed to be part of the video—like Bryan exasperatedly saying, “Mom!” or Peggy cajoling him into answering just one more question. They were so sweet together. She loved her son so much, and he loved her, and that’s what we all were lucky to witness that day.
Her love lives on in everyone she’s met. We all get to carry that with us forever.
