The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

Obituary
With deep sorrow and grateful hearts, the family of Paul Olamide Olayinka announces his peaceful transition from this life in 2025. Paul was a beloved son, brother, cousin, and friend whose presence brought warmth, laughter, and comfort to everyone who knew him.
Born in Nigeria and later building his life in the United States, Paul carried with him a gentle spirit, a generous heart, and a quiet strength that touched countless people. He was known for his warm smile, his thoughtful nature, his brilliant intelligence, and the way he always showed up for others with compassion and sincerity.
In the months leading to his passing, Paul navigated significant emotional challenges, especially while grieving the loss of his mother in 2024. Despite the weight he carried, he continued to push forward with resilience and hope. His journey is a reminder of how deeply people can struggle beneath the surface and how important it is for us to hold one another with understanding, compassion, and love.
Paul leaves behind a family who adored him: his father, his sibling, extended relatives, and a community of friends who will forever cherish his memory. Though our hearts are heavy, we take comfort in knowing that he is now at peace, reunited with his dear mother, and embraced by God’s eternal rest.
Paul’s life will be honored through a celebration of life ceremony, where family and friends will gather to remember his kindness, his humor, and the light he brought into the world. His legacy will live on in the love he gave, the lives he touched, and the memories we hold close.
You loved Paul, and Paul loved you—and that connection makes us forever family. Thank you for standing with him and supporting him with all your hearts. You don’t have to go through this alone. Reaching out is a form of strength, not weakness. And remember, you are loved.
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
- Isaiah 41:10
