I knew Paul from Rugby. We both came through the club together playing in a very successful team.
Paul was nothing if not passionate about the game and doing the best by the team, often the first to get involved when a fight was in the offing.
On one occasion, a fight on the sidelines, instigated by his dad Peter, had Paul leading the charge across the field for both teams to fight.
A top chap who I still have some very fond memories of.
RIP Paul

I met Paul over ten years ago in Oceanside, CA. He was more than a friend to me, he was the father figure I never had. He always looked out after me and he changed my life for the better. I will truly miss you and I will never forget you. Rest well mate.

Paul ("Gladis") and I first met in Canada, just after he retired from his beloved Paras. We shared many adventures, and soon became firm friends.
Paul was a successful businessman, based in Canada and the USA, specializing in mining security in some of the more hostile environments of the world. He flourished under pressure, and was the ultimate optimist.
We shared some of lifes challenges, laughed, and put the world to rights. One of my best memories was of spending some time on Dartmoor with him.
Paul was a warrior, and bravely fought his illness to the end.
We miss him so much.
RIP Matey - love from Annette and Mick Tucks

We were blessed enough to live next door to Paul and Jell for a short time - what wonderful neighbors! We enjoyed Paul's direct and honest approach to every topic in addition to his humor about them. He was a good friend and will be sorely missed.
