Obituary
Ollie Jones Jr., 64, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away on July 29, 2026. Born on January 1, 1962, in Bangor Maine, to Ollie Jones Sr, and AlMarie Jones. He was a beloved father to two beautiful children Renonda Jones of Atlanta Georgia, and Xavier Quarles of Las Vegas NV. A grandfather to eight intelligent grandchildren. A brother to Michael Jones of Las Vegas NV, and Aleda Allen of San Antonio Texas. A uncle, a friend to many, and a valued member of his community. Ollie is preceded in death by his sister Carmen Diane Jones who passed away in October of 2025.
Those who knew Ollie will remember him for his warmth, kindness, and steady presence in the lives of his loved ones. His comical conversations and interactions with many, and for his leisure activity of playing and competing in a game of dominoes. His memory lives on in the hearts of his children, family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
A funeral service will be held to honor and celebrate Ollie's life at Second Baptist Church, Las Vegas, NV 89106, on August 22, 2026 at 12pm noon.
He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.

Dear Daddy, who'd a thought that I'd get two angels at one time?
Who'd a thought that you'd leave my heart in such a bind?
Who'd a thought that I'd lose my biggest fan? And who'd a thought that God would had taken such a phenomenal man?
Who'd a thought that you wouldn't call me anymore, just to tell me somebody's business? Cracking jokes, throwing shade, and adding your two cents in?
Who'd a thought that it would all come to an end.
Who'd a thought, that I'd go through this again?
