Your death came to me as a rude shock. Nobody expected that the health complaint that led you to the hospital would not be handled and you coming back to your family in good health. Death is inevitable when it comes and cannot be cured but God knows the best.
You always call me Oke Ogo and have shown me love and understanding since I married into your family. You are a woman of peace and great endeavor who loves her family and protects her own with all she has.
May God receive your soul and we will see again on the resurrection morning. Amen!

Sis Okechi was like a big sister to me too! I remember back in the 80s at Ulasi road Aba, she played the role of a mother to us whenever she saw Chinyere’s friends around! She will be greatly missed! May her soul keep resting in peace and may God comfort the entire family.

A TRIBUTE TO A SELFLESS AND LOVING COUSIN
The news of death shook me to my core. Okechi, I will never forget the conversations we shared. Your passion for the things of God was contagious and I admired your dedication to your family. You often remind us of our shared roots and the importance of staying connected. I remember your favorite phrase " ele adu sakota". " We're all related, and that's what matters". Okechi you lived by these words, and your legacy will continue to remind us of the power of family and the importance of nurturing those bonds. Rest in peace Okechi. Your impact in our family will be felt for generations to come.

Your smile, I will never forget. Your gentleness and kindness, I will always remember. My fondest memory of you was one of a prayer warrior. I will never forget hearing you every morning firing prayers even before anyone else was awake during a camp meeting that I was privileged to be in the same room with you. These memories are etched in my heart forever. Sis. Okechi, it was a shock to hear that God had called you home but we take solace in knowing that you are now with your maker and being comforted. Gaa nkeoma Ada Jesus. May the Lord comfort and strengthen all that you left behind. Continue to rest in the bosom of our Lord Jesus Christ until that resurrection morning. Amen.

TRIBUTE TO OUR UNIQUE AND LOVING SISTER-- OKECHI;
Words are not enough for me to write how i felt when i heard of your painful demise. Its been long i saw you last. We didn't hear that you were sick, only for us to get this sad news.
What shall we say, the Holy book tells us to thank God in everything. If it has pleased God at this time to take you, who are we to question him?
We the Eke Igwe family write this with a heavy heart and obedience to God's permission to say, MAY YOUR GENTLE SOUL AND SOULS OF ALL FAITHFUL DEPARTED THROUGH THE MERCIES OF GOD REST IN PERFECT PEACE! AMEN.
We love you dear, but God loves you more. Its so hard to say Goodbye! Rest on dear sister, till we meet to part no more.
On behalf of Eke Igwe's family we say Good Night.
Hon. Chidi Eke.
For the family.

Okechinyere my junior sister, that suddenly passed on gave me a rude shock, Okechi has a large heart. Very enduring, patient, and a good encourager to other women. A pace setter, caring, loving cheerful giver. Ready to go an extra mile with colleague, she is a leader with a kind mind. She is a practical christian that her life style imparted people's life to Christ .
Rest in peace, in the bossom of the Lord, we shall meet to part no more.
La nke oma.
