Nyaradzo Faith Moyo (née
Kanyumbu)
Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. 2 Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. 3 For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. 4 When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory. (Colossians 3)

Faye it’s such a painful feeling knowing that I can’t call or message you anymore. I thank the Lord for the time He gave you on this land of the living to show God’s divine love to everyone who came to you. You once gave me a placard that says “ chance made you my sister in law, but love made us sisters. “ To this day I still call you my sister and you made me feel like I was the only sister you had in your life and that’s the way you treated everyone who came to you. You made everyone feel special. Life is not going to be easy without you. You were my go to when I get stuck whether it is a tangled necklace, a new recipe, things and ideas for my house or car, to even the smallest of things that come to mind. I thank God for the time we shared and I will miss you. I promise to continue teasing Abi even though it may not be so fun as you were my tag team tease buddy. It’s selfish of me to want you here knowing how much pain you endured, I learnt a lot from the way you handled your health issues and how you thought of everyone else’s problems even though you were going through worse. That is the kind of love Jesus left and most of us struggle to live like that but you didn’t. You loved wholeheartedly and without discrimination. May you rest in peace knowing you have fought a good fight and won the race. Sleep well big sis. Love you always and forever will be in my heart and mind. You may not be here in person but your memory will linger forever in our hearts, mind and our lives. Faye rest in eternal peace knowing that the Lord Jesus is with you comforting you having experienced the pain and suffering in this land of the living. Good night my sister. I pray for the rest of your family to be comforted by the Holy Spirit and enable them to live without having you at a speed dial or in person. May the Holy Spirit be with the whole Kanyumbu Moyo families and everyone else who has been affected by your passing away.

To the Kanyumbu and Moyo family, our deepest condolences. May you be comforted knowing that our Faith is safe in God's hands and love.
Faith, you'll be deeply missed. Your smile and quiet demeanor with a hint of humour and mischief... it was always a pleasure to be in your company 😊.
Your insistence in being in the organsing team for my cousins memorial in March '25 when you yourself were clearly not well and yet you did it all with grace and love and made the event a success.
Fly high Faye 🕊

Our deepest and sincere condolences to you Absolom, Anesu, Baba & Mhamha Kanyumbu, the Moyo Family, relatives, friends and colleagues:
Reflecting on your life, we realize we had the privilege of interacting with an angel. Faith, you were an intelligent, multitalented, selfless, and remarkable individual. Your service was beyond human expectations – diligent, excellent, humble, and passionate, even in pain. You effortlessly connected with people of all ages, touching hearts and lives.
Your mission was not easy, but you accomplished it with triumph, overcoming disease, suffering, and every challenge. You demonstrated a profound love for God, not just for what He does, but for who He is. You've set a high standard, inspiring us to strive for greatness.
We're left wondering how you managed to do so much for us. As someone insightfully said today, you knew the secret of serving God – though only you know best. We love you, and now you're even closer to us, living on in our hearts, united through Jesus Christ.
Your Christ-like exemplary living has transformed our lives. On your day of rest, you've made an eternal impact. Death, where is your sting? Indeed, death has been swallowed up in victory! Goodnight our dear daughter - Faith. Rest in power!"

I have had no words to say since I received the news. Your wife touched my spirit and her presence remains very close to my heart. I remain heartbroken with you as we remember your beautiful, kind, and amazing wife. She blessed all of us with her warmth and gracious spirit, and her light will never fade from my life. May the God of all comfort hold you close, as He promises:

Please know that as your neighbour and friends, we stand beside you—not just today but in the weeks and months to come. You are not alone. I thank God I was able to meet her, laugh with her and enjoy her company. May our Fayi rest in paradise💕

Today we lay to rest, celebrate & honor a woman who was far more than just a sister-in-law ... she was a sister in love, a true friend, a confidante, and above all, a prayer warrior. A virtous woman whose name was prophetic to the life she lived...."FAITHful, FAITHfilled & FAITHimparting till her last day.
She carried herself with grace, clothed in faith, and lifted those around her with words of prayer and encouragement. Her strength was not in loudness but in the quiet power of her faith, in the way she interceded for others, and in the way she stood as a pillar of love.
To me, she was more than family by marriage — she was family by heart. She listened without judgment, cared without limit, and loved without condition. When I needed counsel, she offered wisdom. When I needed comfort, she gave warmth. When I needed strength, she prayed me through.
Her laughter was a gift, her words a balm, her prayers a shield. She was the kind of person who left you better than she found you, always pointing your eyes back to God.
Though her earthly journey has ended, her legacy continues. The seeds of love, faith, and prayer she planted in us will continue to grow. And though we grieve, we do not grieve as those without hope, for we know she is resting in glory, reunited with her Maker whom she loved so deeply.
Today, I thank God for the blessing of having known her, walked with her, and loved her. My beloved sister-in-law, you will always remain in our hearts — a sister in love, a prayer warrior, a confidante, and a true friend.

When I was doing my nail course, I posted on the ladies group asking for ladies who I could practice on (models). Faye heed to the call and said she was bringing her sister too. They came to my house and they didn’t mind me messing with their nails (Still has her number saved as Faye Nails). My child was so little then. Faye and Farai took turns to play with him whilst I worked on the other. I didn’t want any payment because I was the one benefiting and I also thought that the mess I had done on their nails wasn’t worth a penny, but they insisted they wanted to pay so I can replenish my stock. They told me that I was on track and that I should keep going. We had a good laugh and both were so cheerful.
I thought meeting her was a one off thing, but after some time, she reached out to me and reintroduced herself. Since then, she would occasionally what’s app me just asking how we were. Sometimes it was just the flying hearts. The last message was when she commented on my status in May and I told her how the baby she met is not a baby anymore. Our last conversation was me asking how she was but she never answered the question. I assumed she got busy and will message again at some point. Not even a single moment did she mention she wasn’t well 😢. The next thing, I saw a message on the very what’s app group that connected us, that she was no more. It’s been so hard to come to terms with the news and was just hoping that it wasn’t true.
My heart is so heavy sis 😢. I can only conclude that you gave but never wanted anything in return 😢. I have been hearing so many testimonies and that you just wanted to live a normal life without people feeling sorry for you. I have heard about your love for others and I can’t even believe that you still had so much love to give even to myself. I wanted to tell you that kiddo is fine and started school this month 😢. Thank you for being my model.
Good night Sis, see you in the morning 💕

My beloved Sister Faith was a remarkable woman - gracious, compassionate, and wise . Her selfless nature, generous heart, and unwavering support for those around her will be remembered with great respect and admiration. She possessed a rare ability to offer guidance with both warmth and clarity, and her presence was a source of strength and comfort to many. Though words can do little to ease the pain of her absence, I hope we will find solace in the love she gave so free and the meaningful legacy she leaves behind. Until we meet again . My heart aches over the loss of my dear cousin sister, Nyaradzo Faith Moyo nee “Kanyumbu.” I'll always remember her warmth and the beautiful light she brought into Kanyumbu and Moyo family lives. Even through her long and courageous battle with cancer, her spirit remained steadfast. She was a true fighter and an inspiration to us all, facing her illness with grace and dignity. Faith , you'll be deeply missed, but your light will continue to shine in our hearts and memories. May you rest in eternal peace.

It is hard to find the right words, because how do you sum up someone as special as Sis Fay? To me, she was not just a church member, but a sister, a mentor, and a gift from God. I will always treasure our time in catering planning events, cooking all night, and sharing recipes and laughter. She had such a passion for cooking and believed food was a way of showing love.
What I loved most was how she cared for people beyond church. On random days she would call and say, “Sis, are you home? I’m coming to see you.” She would arrive with groceries, spend the day with you, encourage you, and make you laugh. She had a way of lighting up any atmosphere, carrying joy, strength, and laughter wherever she went.
Sis Fay taught me the true meaning of service, sacrifice, and love. Her faith in God was unshakable, and she lived it daily through how she cared for others. She will always be remembered not just for what she did, but for the way she made people feel loved, valued, and never alone. May her soul rest in peace, and may God continue to comfort Mr. Moyo, Anesu, the parents, family, and friends.
