Obituary

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Norma, who was born on August 3rd 1936 and passed away on October 21st 2026 in Panama City Florida.

Norma Good, a loving wife and devoted mother, passed away peacefully on October 21, 2026, at the age of ninety.
Above all else, Norma was a woman of deep faith who loved the Lord, her family, and her church community.
She was the beloved wife of the late Francis Good. She is survived by her three children, Michael Good, Sandra Morley, and Brenda Lane. She held a uniquely close and special bond with her late younger sister, Barbara, as well as her nieces and nephew.

Norma found immense joy in her role as a grandmother and great-grandmother. She was the proud grandmother of Taylor Morley, Nathan Morley, Nicholas Good, Emily Hill, Robert Lane, Amber Homans, and the late Michael Good. Her legacy of love continues through her great-grandchildren: Karter, Ashlyn, Harper, Wyatt, Harlee, and Adelyne.

An avid lover of the outdoors, Norma felt closest to God while walking among His creation, always pausing to take in the wonders of the natural world. This spirit of love and gratitude defined how she treated everyone around her. Within her church, she found a profound calling and purpose through the Operation Care ministry. As a natural encourager, Norma dedicated her time to helping families in need by providing food, clothing, and prayer—always offering her support alongside the genuine warmth of her presence.
She will be deeply missed and eternally loved by all who knew her.

To my beloved Norm.

Forty years ago, I didn't just marry into a family; I was blessed with a second mother. I loved her like my own, and from the very beginning, she made sure I knew I belonged.

I’ll never forget the first time I built up the courage to call her "Norm." I was a bit nervous, but she looked at me and gave me a smile that reflected a quiet, warm approval. From that moment on, the title of "mother-in-law" faded away. She treated me like her own son, and in forty years, she never once made me feel like an outsider.

Over four decades, Norm became my confidant. I spent many years sharing my personal challenges and my successes with her. No matter what I was facing, she always listened without judgment and always had an encouraging, wise word ready for me.

She was never unkind, but she always told me the truth—the kind of honest guidance you only get from someone who truly loves you.

Above all, Norm lived her life as a beautiful example of faith and resilience. She showed me how anyone can be changed by God’s grace, gently reminding me that we all fall short at times.

She didn't just teach this through words; she showed me by example. She taught me that life is about giving back and never taking anyone for granted.

She recognized that God sometimes places us in precarious positions, and by watching her, I learned exactly what to do in those situations: extend grace, offer kindness, and lean into faith.

Norm, thank you for forty years of unconditional love, wisdom, and open arms. You will be deeply missed, but the lessons you taught me and the love you gave me will stay with me forever.

Your son-in-law,
Love you always and forever.

Mom,

Thank you for helping me get through life with a sense of humor and understanding. You were always so determined and never gave up. You showed your love through your service to others, setting a high standard and always making me feel proud of my accomplishments. You also taught me to have compassion for myself and to forgive myself for my mistakes.

I hope I can be as strong as you.

I loved all the notes and letters you always left for me, your funny stories, and your contagious laughter. You taught me along the way to look for the good in people and to see their hearts. You had such a deep understanding of others’ feelings, and your prayers carried me through so many rough times.

You had such class and were so beautiful, inside and out. I am beyond blessed to have shared your heart and to have been loved by you.

I know you will continue to look out for me and send me those little Popeye winks. ❤️

I’ll keep working on myself and continue to grow. You gave me the tools, showed me the way, and taught me so much about how to live this life with love, compassion, strength, and a little humor along the way.

Your love will always be a part of me. I will carry your lessons in my heart, your laughter in my memories, and your strength in everything I do.

I love you, Mom. Always.

Mom,
She was a fun, playful mom with us as kids and her grandkids.
She crafted all sorts of contraptions to entertain them and play right along . If there’s a will there’s a way, she would push through and accomplish whatever the obstacle.
She taught me to stand up for myself be honest, strong and make no excuses.
She encouraged me to accomplish tasks. I thought I wasn’t capable of, and she showed her love by her actions, listening without judgment and subtle suggestions. She could be tough at times, but I always knew I was deeply loved, I gotta admit I wasn’t the easiest child..
Her favorite phrase “laughter is good for the soul” and I agree.
I am blessed to have called you Mom for 90 years! I’m happy you’re riding the clouds along with Dad and your cherished loved ones now.
I will miss you always and forever ❤️
