Obituary

Nicola Elizabeth Leach, born on May 26, 1966, passed away peacefully on October 9, 2026, at the age of 60. Nicki will be deeply missed by all who knew her for her generosity and unwavering commitment to those she loved.

Nicki leaves behind her beloved siblings Frederika, Greg, and Kathleen, who will cherish her memory and the many moments shared together. She also leaves a lasting, cherished legacy as the best aunt ever to Nicolas, Avel, Austin, Ender, Michael, Casey, Caleb, Stefan, Brooke, Liam, Patrick, and Jonathan. Her impact as a caring and supportive presence in their lives will not be forgotten.

Among her closest companions, Nicki is mourned by her best friends, Toni Castro Hearn and Tisha Gonzales-Reynolds, whose decades of friendship, 46 years, brought joy and strength to all of their lives.

A service honoring Nicki's life will be held at Sunrise Community Church on November 7, 2026, at 2pm. Her kindness and dedication to family and friends will be remembered with gratitude and affection by everyone who had the privilege to know her.

From the first day we met, we knew we would be friends forever. Because you took us to church camp, we committed our lives to the Lord. This has been your greatest gift to us.

Thank you for being there for all the good times. The laughter, celebrations and special times were made better because you were a part of all of them. Thank you for holding on to us during the dark and difficult times. We couldn’t have made it without you. What a difference you made in our lives!
