Nicki Bickford

Obituary
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Nicki Bickford, who passed away peacefully on 8th July 2026, in her home surrounded by family, after a long battle with cancer. Whilst we miss her dearly, we take comfort in the fact that she is no longer suffering.
As per Nicki's request, she wanted her funeral to be a celebration of her life. So, we've created this page for people to share their favourite memories, stories and photos for everyone to see - please add as many as you'd like. We kindly ask you to add your message by 31st July for it to be shown at her reception.
If you would like to make a donation in Nicki's name, her chosen charity is St Christopher's Hospice, who took excellent care of her: https://www.justgiving.com/page/nicki-bickford

Nicki became part of our larger clan seamlessly - always with a warm smile and kind words for everyone. She was a devoted and extremely proud mother to Sarah and a steady supporting wife to David, even when most weekends had to be planned around the CPFC fixtures list, she took it all in good grace, cheering on the team from home.
As a family we were so proud that she played an important part of the 2012 London Olympics opening ceremony with the NHS team. We also admired her
strong work ethic and she said all her hard work was worth it for the view from her office over the Thames.
Nicki was a very special person who took a real interest in people. We admired her quiet strength and the kindness she showed to all. Nicki will be deeply missed us and by all who knew her.
