In Loving Memory of Nick Zuppas
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Nick Zuppas on August 18, 2024, at the age of sixty-three. While we mourn his loss, we know he would much rather we remember the many moments he made us laugh, the music he loved, and the strong work ethic he carried throughout his life.
He was born on July 23, 1961, in Wooster, Ohio, to Alexander James and Charlotte Ann (Parker) Zuppas. Nick had a knack for humor that was as sharp as it was endearing. Whether he was cracking jokes at family gatherings or chatting with strangers who quickly became friends, Nick always knew how to lighten the mood and make everyone feel welcome.
Some of his favorite ways to spend his time included playing the drums, cooking, watching westerns, and taking care of others. As a skilled carpenter by trade, he had a talent for fixing anything—from a broken sink to a bad day—with just a smile and a well-timed joke. All who knew him will remember his ability to find joy in every task.
Survived by his wife Flor, daughters Ashley and Alana, four grandchildren, and countless friends and family, Nick leaves behind not only a lifetime of memories but also a legacy of laughter that will echo through the years.
Rest in peace, Nick. May there always be music in your heart and laughter in your soul.
