Reflections
I have been a friend of your husband Nick, for over five years, and my heart is filled with sadness and grief for your loss.
Our relationship began as a client-advisor one, but quickly evolved into a friendship.
Nick and I shared a common love for family, the New York Giants, and the Yankees.
His expertise and guidance were invaluable to me, and his unwavering dedication to his clients was evident in our professional relationship.
I followed him from Cadence Bank to Synovus because I knew I could always count on his sound financial advice.
Nick was more than just a financial advisor; he was a friend who always made me feel valued and supported.
His ability to connect with people was special.
I will hold the memories we shared, especially our conversations about his children who he loved so much.
I know there are no words that can truly ease your pain during this difficult time.
Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.
With deepest sympathy,
Anthony Serra
This news is so devastating and we are all heart broken for you. I first met Nick and Samantha at daycare drop off and I always thought they looked a little familiar and realized later we had all went to Stetson together for a year. After we made this connection your mom shared the sweetest story about how they met. Samantha was singing and Nick saw her from across the room and knew he had to meet her. It was this tiny little pub called "The pig" where everyone hung out. From there it was history. Every time I spoke with your Dad and he brought up the three of you there was always a twinkle in his eye and softness in his voice. Both of your parents were so great about sharing about Wobbly Feet and including us in your journey. Talking to your mom she shared all the ways your Dad worked to make life special and great despite any and all obstacles. Some of my favorites were how he would jog Connor around at night playing Pokemon GO and took up gardening as a way the family could be together in a healthy way. I never heard him complain. Your entire family has always been filled with happiness and positivity. Please know the Kautzer Family will always be here for you and his inspiration will always live on in our hearts.
