While we are so sad at the departure of our dear friend Dr. Narinder Saini, there is so much we can learn from his life. He lived a fulfilling life with a wonderful loving family, friends who admired him, and a community that benefitted so much from his selfless care. We will always remember his big smile and heartfelt hugs. After having serious medical issues early in his adult life, he embarked on a journey to learn, practice and teach others how to prevent and even reverse heart disease by life style modification. His patients and the entire community benefited from his advice and counsel. He was the “unofficial” family doctor for so many in the community. Dr. Saini enjoyed life to the fullest. He loved singing and dancing and celebrating with friends & family.
Will miss Nandi bhaji so much, but his positive attitude about life, the joy he brought to our lives, and his contributions to his community will always be a source of inspiration to me and everyone else who knew him. Rest in peace brother. 🙏🙏

Truly saddened to hear about the demise of Saini uncle. Since childhood, I was blessed by his presence on multiple occasions whenever he visited India. His friendship with papa exemplifies what true friendship means and having witnessed that for over 50yrs, I always hoped to develop something similar in my life. He opened his heart and family to us. Selfless, loving and ever smiling, he was like a father away from home to us when we moved to US. Uncle, you will be dearly missed. Praying to god for strength to aunty and the rest of the family. ❤️ - Prairna (Dr Verinder Gupta’s daughter)

On November 20th, Dr Narinder Saini completed his journey of life and left us all forever to be one with the creator. Dr Saini whom with affection and reverence I called Nandi Bhaji was a dear friend and like an elder brother to me. He was the epitome of kindness, compassion, dedication, grace, and altruism. His pleasant demeanor won the hearts of everyone around. A karamyogi to the core, he truly lived by the credos of “Service before self” and “Serve in a truth “.

I am a physician married to a physician and yet always sought his advice for my own recent health concerns; as coming from him, the medical advice interwoven with valuable life lessons, with generous dose of spirituality and faith had much more effect.

Numerous folks in the community have shared with me how Nandi Bhaji’s pleasant personality laced with compassion, helped them feel better even before taking a single dose of his prescription medication.
On countless occasions, he even picked up the medicines personally from the pharmacy to drop it off at the doorstep of the needy after giving them the peptalk and advice.

Nandi Bhaji was a gem of a person who will be truly missed, but the exemplary path which he has shown us all will continue to shine lights in our lives, and the countless memories with him will be cherished forever. Rest in Peace Bhaji….

Dear Saini family,
We are saddened by the news of Dr Narinder Saini sudden demise. He was always there to guide community members, Zipper club or individuals in navigating the heart health issues. One event that stands out in my memory is my invitation, many years ago, to Dr Saini as Key Note Speaker to Affiliate Societies Council (a Science and Technology Org. of over 40 Soc.) Fall Seminar for Professionals at Miami University. Dr Saini showed up with his team and made an unforgettable presentation; handed out 'Create a HEALTHY HEART' book he published, to each participant. We will miss him.
Please accept our heartfelt condolences. May his soul rest in peace.

Nandi was a true friend of mine. We called each other “brother” and he gave me permission to contact him any time – day or night – for any health issues. Nandi was always fun to have around with his jovial ways, singing and a winning smile. We enjoyed conversing about a range of topics from psychology, technology, and longevity to travels, politics, and India. So sad that Nandi is no longer with us. But in our fond memories, he will always live on.

Nandi uncle was an angel on Earth. He was such a kind human being and he was ever willing to teach and help others with his cardiac prevention education and general medical advice. I remember going to his innovative wellness clinic for cardiac prevention in Springfield that he had for some time. I’ll always remember his amazing talk at the Heartfulness center on heart health as well. But more than all that, he was a family friend and I grew up with his daughter Punam dancing together for the World a fair. He was always such a kind and loving presence in our lives and we will miss him. Prayers for Uma aunty, Punam, Monica and Kavita and all the family to bear this sudden loss. 🙏🙏🙏🙏

We come together to celebrate the life of an extraordinary soul Dr. Narinder K. Saini, our beloved friend of 55 years. My heart is filled with a mix of sorrow and gratitude—sorrow for the empty space left by his passing, and gratitude for the gift of having shared so many years with such an incredible person.
Narinder, though nearing his seventh decade, was taken from us far too soon, leaving behind Uma, his cherished daughters, his grandkids, and so many friends who loved him dearly. It's hard to believe that someone who stood by us for more than five decades is no longer with us in body. But Nandi remains with us in spirit, in our memories, and in the countless ways he touched our lives.
We first met Narinder when we were in Patiala. Little did we know then that this was the beginning of a friendship that would span nearly 55 years. In 1973, he married his love of life Uma Saini. Soon after, in 1974, Narinder went to Germany,
From the very start, I could tell that Narinder was someone special—a person whose kindness, humor, and wisdom would leave a lasting impression on everyone he met. Together, we experienced so much. We celebrated milestones, supported each other through challenges, and built a treasure trove of memories.

In those moments, it became clear how fortunate we were to have a friend like him—someone who was not only a confidant but a constant source of inspiration.
Narinder was a person of remarkable qualities: kindness, loyalty, generosity, humor, and resilience, to name just a few. We all remember how he shared with us the famous qawwali song, “Aai Meri Johra Jabin, Tujhe Maloom Nahin, Tu Abhi Tak Hai Haseen, Aur Main Zawan, Tujh Pe Kurbaan Meri Jaan, Meri Jaan.” We sang this kawwaalli at many functions then after, always thanking him.
Narinder had a unique way of making everyone feel valued and loved, always offering a listening ear and a helping hand. His laughter could brighten the darkest of days, and his wisdom guided so many of us.
While his passing was sudden, I find comfort in knowing that Narinder lived a life full of meaning. He cherished his family, his friendships, and the simple joys that life had to offer. He taught us all the importance of living with love, purpose, and gratitude.
As we say our goodbyes today, let us carry forward the lessons he taught us. Let us honor his memory by being the kind of friend he was to us—steadfast, compassionate, and true. Though we will miss him every day, I am profoundly grateful for the gift of his friendship and the legacy of love he leaves behind.
Rest in peace, my dear friend. You will forever be in our hearts. Until we meet again.

He was my best friend since medical school for last 55 years, loving affectionate sincere person, really helpful at every moment of life.
