Announcement
The Chapple family announces, with great sorrow, the passing of their beloved Husband and Father, Michael Wreford Chapple, on March 28th, 2026. He is survived by Mary Ann, his wife of 61 years, his children: Karen and Wref, six grandchildren, and one great-grandson. He will be remembered for his steady leadership, quiet strength, and unforgettable dry humor. The memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 2nd, 2026 at 4:00 p.m., at Graham Memorial Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers, and if so inclined, donations can be made to Rady Children's Foundation, in honor of the Chapple Family.

One of my favorite memories with papa was going to Lake Tahoe every winter throughout my childhood. He was a wonderful skier, and I always wanted to get better so I could keep up with him. How wonderful to experience a family trip like this on a regular basis! Below is one of my favorite photos of papa and grandma holding my son, Kai. We love you, Papa and will miss you greatly.
