Mary’s Life
Mary attended Graham Creighton High School and Dartmouth Regional Vocational School, where she earned her degree in Office Administration. She started out working within finance and insurance and later went on as an office manager in transporation and moving. In later years she returned to insurance combined with administration where she finished out her career.

She and Bill were married on December 18, 1976, beginning a life together that took them from Dartmouth to Lake Echo and eventually to their longtime home in Gaetz Brook, NS. Mary was an avid reader who read anything she could and was particularly fond of crime and suspense novels and series. Mary was an accomplished crafter, and was always willing to take on any creative project. The many quilting and crochet projects have made it into the many lives of those she knew and loved.

Mary will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for her family and many friends.  Her presence touched many, and her memory will continue to be cherished by all who knew her.

Dearest Mary, my heart breaks knowing you’re gone.
You were always such a “lady”, so kind and soft spoken.
We had lots of laughs and fond memories over the years, that I will miss.
I will see you again someday in our Fathers home in Heaven.. 🙏😢

Stan and I would like to say how terribly sorry we were to hear of Mary’s passing. Bill adored Mary it was so evident every time we were together. I met Mary through my daughter (Kate) and our search for Christmas stockings . Mary made several for us and even made some for our family dogs. We had great visits, often sharing family stories, especially Grand- Children. I am certain if we lived closer we would have seen each other more often. Mary had a beautiful spirit, she was a lovely lady. I will certainly miss her spirit.

My deepest condolences to Bill, Jerry, Jennifer and all of the family and friends. Mary was a wonderful person and a beautiful soul. I will cherish the Christmas hats and mittens she made for me over the years and our Christmas Eve gatherings. May she be at peace.
