Obituary

With deep sadness, we announce the passing of our dear Mary Ann, on July 9, 2026, in Eugene, OR.

Mary Ann (Marian) Austin, born December 2, 1964, passed away on July 9, 2026, at the age of 61. A longtime resident of Eugene, Oregon, Marian touched the lives of all who knew her with her vibrant spirit and unique perspective.
Mary Ann was the devoted mother of two daughters, and grandmother of two precious granddaughters who were her pride and joy. Her sense of humor, and unmistakable laugh brightened countless gatherings, large and small. Friends and family fondly remember her as someone who never shied away from sharing her opinions, approaching life with honesty, authenticity, and an open heart. Mary Ann had her own way of doing things and inspired others to embrace their individuality.
Throughout her life, Mary Ann was a remarkably gifted artist whose creativity reflected the extraordinary talent God placed within her. She possessed an exceptional ability to draw, sketch, and paint freehand with remarkable precision, whether working from a photograph, recreating an image from memory, or bringing an original vision to life from her own imagination. Her artistic gifts were a source of inspiration to those who knew her and stand as a lasting testament to her God-given creativity and unique perspective on the world.
A virtual Celebration of Life will be held on August 1, 2026, where loved ones will gather online to honor Mary Ann’s memory and share stories of the beauty, humor, and warmth she brought into the world.
Those who knew Mary Ann will remember her as beautiful inside and out—someone who lived life on her own terms, brought laughter wherever she went, and loved deeply. Her presence will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.
